I've heard people asking what happened to TJones. Jones got in early foul trouble, and then couldn't get any easy buckets because Jordan Guards the paint for the Clippers. TJones only played 19 minutes, only took 4 shots, and had 5 rebounds. TJones isn't always going to have big games, because he doesn't have the ball in his hands all that much. It's true that Lin has become somewhat of a scapegoat here at Clutchfans, but some of it is because Lin's legion of fans are so annoying. What is said on Clutchfans doesn't have any impact at all on the Rockets or Lin. Unless they are foolish enough to read Clutchfans after a loss, which I doubt they do.
More like because Lin is one of our highest paid players and is our POINT GUARD (i.e. expected to be a LEADER and direct his team to victory). On top of that, ClutchFans isn't full of JOFs and MOFs that blindly defend Jones/Motiejunas.
This site exist because clutch city is forever . Clutch took the fire of clutch city and molded it into this site . He wanted a site for the believers not non believers as Rudy t said.
Lin needs to decide what hes gonna do before he drives to the basket and throws it away. I sometimes cringe when he enters the game and we're winning
I have absolutely no idea whether Jeremy will be a "hero." While I certainly hope so, my expectations are rather low in the hero department. I'll settle for good, consistent play at the point guard spot by the guy. We need that from him more than we need Mr. Lin to be a "hero" one game, and then "missing in action" the next. In my humble opinion.
This is very true - it seems he gets this in most games lately, but he (and Harden) tend to force things much more against D like the Clipps and OKC rather than playing within the offense and moving the ball around.
The only thing wrong with Harden's offense is not being as good as Durant. Harden was hardly the problem in the last two meetings against OKC and Clippers.
You're right. The chances of a second coming of the "Linsanity" are basically non-existing. If JLin put his focus on being a "hero" and a superstar, it will end badly. However, if he focuses on being a good player and getting his fellow players going, he might be considered a hero in the end. It is his job to make the team play well. If he neutralizes the rest of the team, I doubt that McHale will give him minutes.
No. I'm sick of this kid always getting the benefit of the doubt. "Oh he'll do better next game" "he just needs time to develop" some many excuses for this kid. I really hope I eat crow but my gut tells me a big N.O
6 TOs is only 2 above his season average, he has been a turnover prone this whole season. That was not even close to the most concerning problems in the game.
Clutch is actually an engineer I believe. By day he is solving complex problems, and by night he is regulating the rockets fanbase.
We're going to need some heroics from someone to get over the hump. Might as well be him. I'd like to see Dwight have some breakout games where he dominates too.
