Voters really hate James Harden. I think the Media want to erase James Harden from winning any awards or accolades. Just Erase him from history. James is right about Giannis. James is right about Media Narrative starting from the off-season to actual season.

James Harden changed the Game. Voters are shameless

    Unbelievable

So going off this hoopshype list there’s 25 players who received votes let’s take a look at some catch all numbers and how these 25 guys compare to each other and the rest of the nba... Seems pretty clear 1 guy has zero business in this discussion.

Seems like total win shares is the stat that most closely aligned with the top 25 players getting votes in that hoopshype article.

Unfortunately, things ain't fair much in this world. Because money, paid-for scientists betray the integrity of science; because money, basketball voters vote for who's popular, not who technically has better stats. Narrative sells stories, which in turn drives revenues. Sports industry is an entertainment.

I know one thing. It will hurt to see Harden, Paul and Capela on all-NBA teams on separate teams.

This list is proof positive that the NBA must reduce the media participation in awards voting. It should be split up between players, media and basketball executives, with players getting the largest percentage of the vote.

What idiot actually believes Damian Lillard should be 1st team all NBA? That guy may be the most overrated player in the league of the last 10 years. Add Rudy Gobert as well.

No way that someone like Frank Isola or Justin Termine should have sole say in who receives an award. I mean I am not even sure why Frank Isola is allowed on NBA Radio; the guy is a has been and his shtick is old. He spends most of the time shi**@#g on players and honestly, I don't think he really likes basketball. Termine is a complete D-bag who I am pretty sure took his sister to prom.

Think about it, whose opinion has more weight and value to determine an All NBA vote - Rick Bucher and Justin Termine, or Chris Paul and Daryl Morey?

I agree, get these dumbass media people outta here...all they care about is narratives

after looking at how Chris Haynes voted, he simply should not have a vote moving forward...same with many other of these fools

the players and coaches need to vote on these awards, they are the ones who are actually coaching and playing againist their peers. Brian windhorst, Bill simmons, zach lowe, and ryan russilo probably never played any meaningful basketball in their lives and somehow they have a vote that impacts players legacies

    MVP Voters

    65% Players
    30% Coaches and GMs
    5% Media and Newspapers

    That is Fair.

Appoint an awards committee made up of reputable media members and former players/coaches/executives. Active members of an organization should be ineligible to vote.

Or just let a computer decide.
