Hill has definitely earned a spot in the 'rotation'.

That being said, once the first player comes off the bench, there is no 'rotation'.

Adelman goes with whoever has the hot hand or is having the most impact (starters AND bench) after that. If it's Hill, he'll get the most minutes, if it's Andersen or Jeffries, they will play the most. The same goes with the backcourt rotation. Ariza was in at the end of the last game. Trying to predict minutes on this team is impossible.

It's a nice problem to have.

I think we have to account for Andersen getting used to the NBA and the further 3pt line. I have noticed that he has been shooting a lot better lately form long distance. I think with a offseason under his belt, that next year he will increase the gap between JJ and himself in the percentages.

I hope he keeps getting minutes and continues to grow...I could see his minutes getting cut though.

It a very nice problem that morey has made. After many years of no depth, and old or always injured vets.We have a deep team now thats young, cheap, and versatile. But for some reason people want to go back to having a two man show

It's more than just his offensive game...we have guys that can score! He's so weak and his D is so bad that I dont think he will get much better

Not trying to start a fight with you but we don't know what he looked like in practice up until that point. Maybe Rick wasn't ready to throw him out there just yet. Maybe he wasn't 'getting it'.

DA is still learning the NBA game as well. He has a good stroke all the way out to the 3, its just a matter of him gaining confidence in the offense. He has had a couple of 12+ point games this year. Helped us win games.

My point is, they both bring something this team will need next year so keep playing them both and give them time to develop. The more capable 6'10+ players we have the better it will be.

Too many people on here have Superstar-itis. You'd figure the 40 million dollars wasting on the bench the past couple seasons would have cured them of that.

It's the 'Let's trade Brooks-Martin-Scola-Lowry-Battier-Budinger and 5 firsts for Bosh' crowd.

We have some great complimentary players for next year and some nice assets(the NY picks & expirings next year) to get another quality player. We don't have to gut the team for a 'Superstar' player.

Hill will get his minutes. Probably take over the backup (4/5) role that Landry had while he was here.

I don't think you necessarily have to cut Andersen's minutes to accommodate Hill. I like the kid, but it isn't as if he is perfect in all aspects of the game yet. My guess is that it will depend on the match up and how you play. Both need to be developed to make sure that next season they are good enough for us to make a legit run.
