If Gerald Green and Shane Battier could merge into one person, with Shane's maturity, defense, and intangibles; Gerald's freakish length and athleticism-now then I would GUARANTEE us a first round win at the very least :)
Yes I'm drooling over that thought now......

.....now....if Tmac and Yao could merge together too......hmm?.....

Difficult to guess. His success would depend on whether he is humble and patient enough to learn and work hard enough to develop his potential. Given the current chemistry of the team, he's been placed in the best environment to succeed - it all depends on his attitude and work ethic!

Not quite, but I wouldn't mind taking him over Green right now

My bet would be 2 to 1, busty to solid.
He will need to put on a lot of extrals to turn it around. But I doubt it, if he could do it, he probably would have done it in the past 3 years already.

Every good team needs some real luck. The Rockets could not catch a break for a couple of years. This year we have Scola and Landry. Possibly Brooks. If we haven't exhausted our luck, Gerald Green as a solid rotation player in next year.

Did you guys see his comments after his first shoot around before the Bulls game yesterday?

He talked about how serious everyone was, the attitude and demeanor of the team. He said he had never seen anything like it. Now the big question is will he buy into it, adopt it and make it his own attitude.

Earlier this season, Deke reportedly pulled Carl Landry aside and told him to cut his hair, buy some nice suits for the IR list and work his butt off in practice. He did and look what happened. It would be nice for someone on the team (TMAC?????) to do the same thing to this 22 year old kid.

If he works hard with a great attitude, he could be something, but then is that who he truly is? Is he hungry?
