This. Durant & Lebron are just physical freaks with basketball skills. Flip a coin on who's the best player right now. James was amazing tonight.

James has a shot at going down as the best BB player ever. I'm not saying he will reach that height, but it is a possibility.

Precise. I don't know if I can call them superstars or just superior freakish mutations with superhuman basketball skills and automatic release

    He took Stephen A. Smith's advice: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rdrAalZV22A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I don't think this answers any questions about lebron. We knew lebron could do this, he is the most capable player in hte league, he has the best stats, he affects the game at every angle..I don't think you can question that if you like him or hate him, the ereason people doubt him is not so much how he does in these games that hte leads are there, but the heavy majority of the time in close neck to neck games, he seesm to...disappear, that is wher ehe neeeds his questions answered
    lebron vs durant....best finals match

No, I just meant the whole leaving Cleveland thing, that he occasionally whines about stuff (but most stars do- even Duncan last night was whining about the officials before he gave OKC credit).

LeBron needs to stop passing the DAMN ball to Dwhistle.

    Look at this guy tonight

Lebron needs to be more SELFISH, stats show that he makes most of his shots anyways

    I gotcha.

But I think any reasonable person can agree that peoples reasoning for hating on LeBron is pretty rediculas!

Skip Bayless actually hated on him for dribbling between his legs in game 1

I'd love to have that crazy non superstar playing in Houston. As much as I dislike him as a person (which doesn't really matter, I don't like Kobe either, doesn't mean they aren't great players) he's one heck of a basketball player.

LOL. LeBron is not a super star, because he hasn't won the championship yet. But it's Kevin Durant's world, because he has won ... wait, he hasn't won either.

Charles Barkley and Karl Malone never won championships, so they were not super stars.

I didn't like LeBron, but the best player in the league right now, who plays hard every game on both ends of the floor, isn't a super star?

Kevin Durant is a super star too, in my opinion. But before he can play consistent, tough defense and post up defenders, I don't think he's on par with LeBron, although he might be smoother in offense. Then again, he goes to the FT line a lot, for being a jump shooter.

I don't get these people logic.

So was Dan Marino, not a superstar.

    What about Barry Bonds?

What about Alex Rodriguez before 2009?

What about Peyton Manning before 2006?

    Wilt Chamberlain wasn't a superstar until 1966.

Its the culture, find a reason to bash a guy even if there is no logical reason to.

I'll have to admit he showed up in a big way last night. But I'm still not backing off my 'LeBron is not a superstar' comment.

LeBron is a star player. That's as far as I'll go. But, SUPERstar? Not even close.

LeBron James is the most mentally weak star in professional sports history.

    Superstars eventually get it done.

I look at LeBron and don't see a guy who'll ever win a title.

Maybe later in his career he can latch on with a great team like Karl Malone did and hang on for the ride. How classy.

Yup. Wilt type numbers in this era definitely aren't superstar worthy. What a scrub that Lebron is, I tells ya. The way he sat out at the end of the game last night. What a coward. Jordan would've stayed in and had 60.
