Well I read this on the newspaper a month ago, said he's considering it, but he thought the Rockets move of letting him go was like a wife who cheated on him. He doesn't sound too bitter though and maybe he does want to come back, remember when he accepted lower money from the Rockets just to play here again?

Wouldn't he be a great backup to TMac...?;)

but he could think that it was only to help the team and that there was no other people that the rockets could give but him... and that he probably knew about the salary caps and all

I don't think he's coming back. He could though. You never know. Maybe if we send him a card or a ball of yarn for christmas.. it'll help.

But maybe, just mabye, we could get Sam Mack to come back. we could use his threepoing shooting.

I donno maybe a 5% chance of him coming bak. Plus i think other teams will be offering him more money than we will once again.

He won't come back. Remember a few days ago he said he enjoyed the freedom in Orlando.

This is a business. Most players go where the money is and those that don't have no choice, but to get mixed up in multi-player trades. If Cat comes back, it will be because we traded someone else to get him back.

Unfortuantely, if that happened then we would lose high caliber players like --- MO-T!!!

Because his salary is over 6 mill if he doesn't opt out. So if he does opt out he is expecting to make at least that if not more. The most we can offer is the MLE. He is not coming back. He will get a Quinten Richardson type contract from someone and I bet it will be from the Magic if the make out of the first round of the playoffs.

    only if we're lucky...

nothing against Mo T but I wish we were able to Cat and swap out MoT instead. not that I care much for the trade at all right now...

I've said it before: Cuttino Mobley will one day be the/a coach for the Houston Rockets.

I think Cuttino is a great guy and will always remember him as a LOYAL Rocket.

I remember Rudy making him PG with SG Michael Dickerson.

It was great to see him develop into a great player.

He ranks up there with Cassell and guys I want back on the Rockets.

He was cheap for his contributions. But he has low bball IQ, makes critical mistakes at critical times--costing games. Compared to Francis, he doesn't seem to care so much about winning. He cares about his spotlight moments.

    I'd say pass.

remember wireonfire, he'll only be a backup, so he wont have many critical times, TMac will.
