Will CP3 play MoreyBall?

Obviously Morey hates the midrange shot and from a mathematical view it makes perfect sense. Most people can't hit the shot at a high rate, and even CP3s midrange % is lower than his overall efg. However I feel it causes the opposition to worry about guarding another part of the floor which they might not.

So will Morey force cp3 and Melo to play Moreyball or will he allow them to play their games?

Morey is not fundamentally opposed to the midrange shot. He is fundamentally against INEFFICIENT OR BAD VALUE shots. It just so happens that for most players, that happens to be the long two. If you are a player like CP3 and are actually GREAT from the midrange, Morey has no problems with you shooting that shot. Otherwise, shoot the higher efficiency shot at the 3pt line, FT line, or layup.

Morey has no problems with mid-range shooters as long as they're ACTUALLY GOOD at it. This is why he had no problems pursuing Bosh, Melo, or Aldridge in the past, and why he has no problem with CP3.

The better question is, would Morey prefer Capela shoot a FT or 3pt?
