oh come on, guys. this has nothing to do with morey nor is it the kiss of death for their careers. players who are invited to camp and get cut late are in a pretty bad situation. in fact it's probably the worst situation for a professional basketball player. nba rosters are set. the season in europe already started. what options do those players have? they didn't make an nba roster. they can't go over to europe because the european teams have already spent their money. it's either the d-league or a lower tier foreign league. for smart players that's really an easy decision. the competition and pay in the d-league is horrible. and while the competition in a lot of foreign leagues isn't much better or worse, there's still much more money to earn over there.
