Report states that he signed with Dongguan in the Chinese Basketball Association, which happens to be Mike HarrisĀ“s old team. Report also states that other Rockets rejects, Gerald Geene and James White, may be on their way to China as well.

Good. He'll be available if we need him, I hope, and getting a paycheck. The adventure will be good for him. :)

Excellent News... it's also good that these players are getting a Worldly Experience that creates a Broader Perspective on Life & Humanity(among other things) which in turn builds maturity and character. :)

That's as r****ded as it gets. Go check out hoopchina, there are a huge amount of fanhood for lakers, kings, knicks and bulls. Even timberwolves got their fair share of Chinese fans because of KG.

If Mike Harris can average 30+ PPG in China... Will Conroy will average like 50+.

Horrible. China is where players go, when they don't plan on coming back to the NBA. We will never see him in the NBA again.

The competition is weaker than the developmental league, even Mike Harris managed 25+ pts in China. I was hoping Conroy would develop in the euroleague and come back to the NBA to prove that he can be a viable backup PG.

Playing in China is the kiss of death. I don't remember a player that played in China that returned and had an NBA career. Plenty of euro guys have made the transition to the nba but not a lot from China.

lol, all these guys should thank Yao for helping them get jobs when the NBA stops calling. Awesome, now we get to see Green and White drop 40 a game and tear up the CBA. CBA Dunk Contest > NBA Dunk Contest

Yao apparently is the major shareholder of his hometown CBA team, the Shanghai Sharks.

Conroy better have an opt out clause...stand by mode coz i've read somewhere that Lowry has a jammed thumb (dunno if it's serious though)...he's our only playmaker.

if you ask me, it's almost like we have an understanding with the Chinese teams over there to stash our players, and then pick them back up whenever we need to. i feel like Morey's figured out a way to beat the system. again.
