Part of what you are saying is factual but if you go back and review interviews/statements from the mainstream media in NBA Circles; Isiah Thomas, Shaq, Kenny, Stephen Jackson and many others, they are all saying the same thing.....Harden is a great offensive player BUT he doesn't do this, he doesn't do that.

Harden is doing the exact same thing as Westbrook and Curry but on a higher level and at 27, 28 Harden may have another 5, 6 yrs of playing at a high level, so every yr counts. Also, I am 100% sure other NBA players are going out late at night having fun, if I were in that scene, I would be doing the same thing BUT ask yourself, why aren't you hearing those same things about KWAHI, WESTBROOK, LEBRON, CURRY, ETC. With James, it appears to be apart of his routine.....It's not what you do, it's how you do it! I'm not saying don't go, don't have fun but let it be an occasion and not a lifestyle.

I don't know if it's true or not but if a Strip Club is retiring your jersey......that says a lot about you.

can you be more specific? he doesn't stay home and instead go to strip clubs? he doesn't donate to charity? he doesn't endorse big companies?

I am done with this joker. He gets proven wrong again and again and again. Instead of owning up to his mistakes like an intelligent individual, he just keeps moving the goalposts. Dumb people just love being dumb I guess.

I get your initial point about the lifestyle choices, but being successful, rich, and single doesn't mean a damn thing about who you are as a person either. Not really sure what you were going for there.

    IMO

his success and wealth comes from humility, discipline, hardwork, determination, dedication, and character - all good personal traits

he's single and does what he does to enjoy and unwind to stay single.. not cheating on his SO or getting into relationships just for the sex or having kids and baby mommas here and there

Exactly, we really dont know what these guys are like off the court, so what's even the point of speculating? Remember when everyone thought early career Dwight was some tremendous Christian? Than it came out he had like 7 baby momma's

Just read in the Chronicle that Harden is sponsoring a Charity Basketball Game here in Houston, which will benefit the under privilege children. This is exactly what I've been wanting him to do!

I hope he does more.....Great Job James!

Based on Harden's skin color/weight/height, that calculates to adding 2 more points to his seasons PPG. Good job Harden, keep on donating.

Keep Harden in your prayers you guys. He really needs to go to church more and save his soul so he can be like that nice Kobe guy.

Discuss. Or share. Share or discuss your prayers you prayed last night for Harden.

OMG I just realized how sneaky James is. He must have been secretly donating a lot of money in 2015 and 2017. In fact he donated more than anyone except for Curry and Westbrook. He had similar numbers in 2016 but he didn't donate anything that's why he got no vote at all. It has nothing to do with team success etc. I hope he step up with those charity work and win MVD(onator) in 2018.

you seriously think Harden doesn't have any foundations or donations to charities (that he doesn't go announcing/tweeting to the whole world) prior to this?

or you will only give him credit if its highly publicized?

In Harden's case, he probably do need to do more highly publicized charitable events to get credit, similar to JJ Watt. And don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything JJ does is to gain notoriety but when it is credited, it helps his image! JJ missed damn near a whole NFL Season and he was still voted in The Top NFL 100 Players (He himself said, he didn't deserve it).

Harden damn near broke his neck this past year. He lead the league in minutes played, assist and was top 3 in scoring. He's played more minutes than any NBA Player the past 4 or 5 yrs, even when he had a down yr in 2015, he still averaged 29/10/5 and he wasn't voted to an All-NBA team. Even on a down year, Curry, LeBron, KD or Westbrook still get 2nd or 3rd All-NBA. It's about image

No takers? I'll share mine then.

Dear God of Abraham, Isaac, Moses, and Kim Jong-Un, please make Harden more pious so that he will average 2 more rebounds per game. Saintly people such as myself and ballgame are praying our hardest, eating our vitamins, but Harden just isn't doing all that stuff to make our favorite team better. Please God of Solomon, David, and Nursultan Tulyakbay, give Chris Paul the strength to tell Harden not to go out to the clubs during the season. Not even once. He needs to wake up at 8am every day like a mailman and deliver buckets at 10:30pm when his shift is over. Oh God of Vishnu, Brahma, Shiva and Vladimir Putin, please let the strength of Trevor Ariza's new marriage to a long long long time girlfriend who he's already had kids with in a sinful manner be the beacon to the practice facility so that James can practice his free throws first thing in the morning. My God of Thor, Zeus and Dr Seuss, may the purity found in Mike D'Antoni be blessed also unto Harden's sinful heart so that he may play more focused defense and get sleep when @ballgame goes to bed. And God of Kevin Durant, Kevin Spacey, Kevin Hart and Conan O'Brien, if you have time for that could you also bless my refrigerator with all the toppings needed to make some killer nachos. I know you've said thou shalt not kill, but seriously is there anything wrong with killing a ice cold coca cola after eating 5 chilidogs? Thank you God of Bethlehem, Israel, Iran and Katy just West of your beloved Houston, may Harden's focus be not on booty this year, may he become an alpha dog who is completely asexual so that I may sleep better at night knowing James is taking vitamins, saying prayers like Hogan and not being bad like The Rock and turning things sideways and sticking them in candy a$$e$. God of Marky Mark, Luke and John, please give me free tickets so I don't have to be so judgemental when I go to Clutchfans and type. God, you are entitled to your own opinion about what should happen on Earth, but you know I'm right so listen to me as I am the one that knows best. If you do all I've asked for, then Amen.

Ballgame, what was your prayer? Same one?
