Lol! I never said Harden was a criminal, far from it! He seems to be a cool dued and loves his family....please read my original post. I'm saying he needs to grow up. I'm saying, I don't think he's ever had guidance on how to be a leader, how to venture outside his elements, how to be more than just a basketball player.....by doing this it will make him more rounded, thus becoming a better basketball player and a better person. When you're mature, you know it's nothing good about being out at 2am and 3am in the morning, when you're mature you know it's beneficial to get your rest, when you're mature you know that the weight of the franchise is on your shoulders and you take the necessary steps needed to get to the Championship
Harden is involved with the Special Olympics, has been with the Jeremy Lin foundation, breast cancer awareness and his mother also manages and runs his personal charities including the James Harden Family Foundation. Harden DOES give back financially and with his time. Just give it up.
People not knowing that Harden needs to mature and that CP3 might be the right person to help him with that transition. Nothing about Harden says criminal but also, nothing about says leader nor that he has a championship mentality. Although CP3 is far from a champion but if you ask any current or former NBA Player, they all agree he lays it out on both ends of the court, he's driven, he's a leader and he has a champioship mentality.....THATS WHAT I WANT FOR HARDEN
Like Chris Paul? I love Chris Paul, like James Harden he is a first ballot hall of famer.... but how many titles has Paul won? Michael Jordan has 6 titles, Shaq has 4 titles, LeBron has 3 titles..... Wade has 3 titles..... that is all in the last 22-25 years; and all of them partied and stayed out late. Hell, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker were not strangers to partying late during the playoffs. You just have no real point.... first you claimed Paul would help Harden become a good person, when it was pointed out you were wrong; you retreated to Harden shouldn't go out after a loss... after it was pointed out that Paul, Duncan, Jordan, Shaq and LeVron did after playoff loses... you back peddled to Harden needing to be charitable... so it was pointed out he is charitable... then you said he needed a foundation.. then it was pointed out he has a foundation. Well... guess what; a vast majority of the leaders of championship teams the last 25 years have had leaders that stayed out until 2am on some game nights. There is nothing else you can really complain about; just admit you don't like his dark ass and we can all accept what you are and move on.
Implying that Harden is not a great person is ****ing stupid. You don't know the guy and he hasn't done anything criminal, so yes this thread is stupid. The way you worded is stupid. "Can Chris Paul help harden become a better person" is implying Chris Paul is a better person than harden. How the fk do you know that? Fake news ban op
if you go to night clubs and listen to rap you're a terrible person and should be locked up /op logic stfu! /errbody else ban op for life!
I bet when OP was in college he looked down on people who went out partying on a Friday or Saturday night because they should be studying instead.
More like he would go out and come home empty handed night after night and it turned him into a hater
I don't know... has anyone on this board hooked up with James Harden? Wait... the question was Will Chris Paul make James Harden a better lover right?
If Harden doesn't hurry up and mature and read the new testament, he's going to lose his opportunity to get into ballgame's version of heaven. Forget about being himself and winning a championship, first we have to save his soul from the devil called "beer".
How about just being himself? Why do you expect NBA stars all act like role models? It's not like Harden is being an a-hole or doing drugs. A lot of Championships were actually won by a-holes. Playing golf with Obama ain't gonna help with anything.
Glad to see you read my posted. Now let me explain it to you. In my first post, I stated how I thought CP3 would be valuable to Harden in the sense of him being Head of the NBA Players Assoc and having relationships with Barack Obama, it would benefit Harden greatly to have someone who he could learn from. As I got drawback, to my surprise, because it's like no one else on this board saw game 6. I thought I had to elaborate my view point further. Harden does need to venture out further but also change his brand amongst NBA circles. He's in a position now where he can do much more than what he's been doing in yrs past.
LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT....YOU DON'T HAVE TO PLAY GOLF WITH, KNOW OR EVEN HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH OBAMA. It was just an example I used of the circles CP3 is in VS some of the hanger-ons Harden surrounds himself with. I think Harden did a complete 180 from where he was 2 yrs ago, by getting rid of Khloe Kardashian and being more focused. However, with everything he did last yr, having one of the best NBA seasons statistically, he still fail short in the eyes of the public; that calls him soft, says he doesn't play defense, etc. He needs to make further changes, if he wants to reach the level he wants to achieve. And let me be clear, I never wanted CP3 on this team, because he has to have the ball to be effective and because he has never won big but if anybody can make it work, it's MDA. I trust his analysis. All I'm saying is if it where Steph Curry or CP3 who had Harden's numbers last yr.....THEY WOULD HAVE WON MVP LAST YR. It's image people!
Get this crap outta here. So you want Harden not be himself and portray a fake image like that unathletic fake tough guy loser that delusional eggball fans love JJ Fatt? No thanks. I am happy with Harden being himself rather than being a phony like Fatt. get this through your head ballboy.....Rockets have never failed to make the playoffs with James Harden Meanwhile your eggball Texans have been led by the loser JJ Fatt to 2-14 embarrassment season and 0-30 HUMILIATION at HOME
Wow... you are dumb... you are so dumb. If the ability to have kids was dependent on an IQ test, your bloodline would end with you. Harden didn't lose the MVP last year because of an image issue. He lost the MVP last year, because some guy called WESTBROOK averaged a TRIPLE DOUBLE for the entire season. He lost for the same reason LEBRON JAMES and KWAHI LEONARD both lost and Steph Curry or CP3 would have lost to. A triple double is a stat that even filthy causals can appreciate as it is a big nice double digit number in three different categories and hasn't been done since Big O. Harden's season, while also historic, is much more difficult to be appreciated by fans who only understand the box score. It has NOTHING to do with image. It has nothing to do with maturity or strip clubs or Game 6. It has to do with the fact that Westbrook (also a great player) putting up stats that even ignorants can understand as being historic.
