Actually, I'll be in Oxford for the LSU/ Ole Miss game, which will decide the SEC West. I wish I could cover the Iron Bowl, because it always a fun game and besides, UA is my alma mater, but since it is not the SEC game of the week as determined by my employer, I will not cover it. It is a shame that is largely meaningless this season. I don't give Ole Miss much of a chance against LSU's horrific defense, which after watching them in action against Alabama, I'd stack them up against Oklahoma any day in terms of athleticism and general football IQ. Those guys are good!

And to switch back to the subject, kudos to whomever posted the pics of Candace Cameron. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!! :D

Yeah, the game wasn't very fun to watch, but I'm glad I got in without paying. I tell you 'working' is worth getting paid for an free game, and even better when you realize that some would pay $200 for the game.

I went to see Adrian Karsten and my wish was granted. That guy rocks.

I think you're right on about LSU. Let them play OU.

What are you getting out of Auburn? A lot of folks are saying if Tuberville doesn't win, he's out. Seems like the Tigers are feeling the heat; looks like the Tide should win it.

Well, uhh, enjoy Oxford (Mississippi has got to be the worst state for every reason).

Oh, and back to the main topic; I'll take either of the Olsen Twins or Britney's Twins.:D

Well, my grandfather is good friends with Pat Dye and apparently, from him and others I'm hearing that the school admin and Bobby Lowder (the equivalent of Paul Bryant Jr. at UA) will meet with the AD to determine his fate shortly if he doesn't beat Bama, which for Auburn makes their season if they don't win another game.

So if I were a betting man, I'd say he's toast, which will hurt a lot of Bama folks hopeful that the Aubies would keep his spin-dried mediocrity out on the Plains. It's hard to believe that a team with national championship aspirations fell this far, but Alabama did it back in 2000, so anything is possible. It's the kind of situation that is not good for a coach, a very talented team that vastly underachieves. In the least, look for him to fire more assistants if he himself doesn't get the axe.

As for T-Town, it was a shame to hear about Ray Hudson and Brandon My-Dad-Is-The-Tider-Insider Avalos getting suspended for smoking the sweet cheeba. It has not been a good week for Arkansas, as two of the linebackers have been suspended (Sam Olajubutu, from where my cousin lives in LaGrange, GA) or kicked off the team (the other guy). Olajubutu was busted when he passed out in his SUV in a drive-through line! Can you believe the stupidity of that?

When I heard about that, I couldn't stop laughing. That's just about as stupid as that Aggie perv.

Yeah, Hudson's a moron for getting caught with a dime bag, but Avalos getting busted was hilarious. What kind of moron would get busted for coke on a DRUG TEST.?!?! I wonder if it had anything to do with his awful running abilities. Seriously, he has the hand-eye coordination of a 2-year old.

    There's always something happening here!

Oh, and that tornado we had; it was almost a disaster (just missed the Krispy Kreme). PHEW!

I heard! How far was it from your place? We had some wind in GA, nothing scary. Geez, what is up with T-Town and tornadoes! The bad times are either in Nov./Dec. or in the spring. I was up there for the Christmas tornado. I was out shopping when I heard the siren at Wal-Mart. Oh God, was I scared! Fortunately it didn't hit near my house, but my wife and children spent an hour in a bathtub with a mattress draped over them.

Is that what you heard about Avalos? That is unbelievable. What a dumbass. But with that transfer QB Marc Guillon from Miami becoming eligible next season, Avalos would have to quit football anyway to focus on baseball (if Coach Wells lets him back on the team, very unlikely especially since last year he kicked off two players including leading hitter Peter Stonard [isn't that an ironic name] for smoking cheeba). From what I've heard, Guillon is the real deal and possibly will figure into the QB competition.

I was about 5 minutes away. I reside off of Univ by downtown where straightline winds are abundant. TDOT closed off McFarland for about 8 hours, so traffic was just awful. This tornado came out of nowhere. Roatation wasn't even detected on radar and it seemed that the sirens didn't go off until it was on the ground (No one's fault, but it was just all of a sudden).

These tornadoes are really unpredictable. I have no idea what's so appealing about this place.

I'll have to look into that new QB. Next year's freshamn class is supposed to be pretty good as well. One of them is Kenny Stabler's son.

Oh, and Saturday afternoon I'm working with my doctor on (FINALLY) installing a complete brake overhaul for my dad's first baby ('67 'stang). I still need a couple more parts (mainly clips and parking brake lines) and then it's on down the steps. The biggest issue is a common rust area that happens under the dash. The only suggestion that people have is to have to remove the entire dash and reweld. I'm wondering if there's some type of patch that would be suitable? There's currently a magnet stripe over where the leak occurs.

Thanks in advance for any advice and enjoy the weekend!
