darko milicic got what? 12 minutes per game? in the european system, it is run on seniority, those who have been around longest play the most. they is why all of these younger players havent gotten hardly any PT. see darko milicic, nikolov tshivili ect...
He should get 15-20 minutes a game this year, I would hope for him to start after this year, 2004, maybe start in 2005.
Those are some nice videos. Boki is tearing in Benetton Treviso vs. Kinder, december 1, 2001. You have to like the way Boki shows emotion after he makes a big play.
Will he ever get it off is the better question. Hell, will he even get off the bench? I guess we need to take baby steps . That was not a very good pick. Will he ever be 5 times the player Langhi is/was? Well, he is getting 5 times the money and will for 3-4 more years. Fire CD!
Only thing Langhi does is shot, Boki does alot more. He attacks the basket, and dunks it in your face. Don't think just because he is a European that he just shots 3s. Boki does alot more than that. Boki should start over Posey(if the Rockets even re-sogn Posey).
Who cares? Why is everyone so obsessed with Nachbar? It's like you feel left out because some other teams have a good Euroboy and the Rockets don't.
The reason I care is because the Rockets play players like Moochie, Morris, Hawkins, etc, and Boki is better than all of'em. What would you prefare to talk about? A fake trade that will never go down?
I just read everything I can find on Boki, watch all his clips, do anything I can to find info on the guy. From what I got, I think he is the real deal. It's only my opinion though.
I heard that the reason the Rockets aren't allowing Boki to play is because he is not nearly half as good as they thought he was and they're trying to hide that fact, maybe allow him to work out and practice his shot. Don't know if it's true or not, but it does make sense.
I don't buy that, reason he didn't play is because Rudy T has no clue what he is doing out there and lets his players over run him.
I tend to agree. Despite what you may have thought about the Rockets organization under Rudy T, you've got to believe he was more than capable of handling the easy task of assessing the talent that he was given to work with. If Boki showed anything during practice, I've got to believe the team would have found a way to work him into the rotation. He was on the bench for a reason.
Didn't Boki like a hernia(?) or something? I'm not sure if he really did have a injury or if it was just a made up reason not to play him. Maybe Boki was having a hard time learning how to run the Rockets offense and learn the plays, opps I forgot, Rudy didn't have any.
I'd just like to see the s.o.b. play more than 5 minutes once in a blue moon. How could any of us know how good he really is? I'll own up again to being wildly over-optimistic about Nachbar before the start of last season, and I'm still mystified about his lack of playing time... even garbage minutes (when we had Mooch and his band of Merry Men collecting garbage). We'll see how he does in the Summer League shortly, and then we'll have more to base conversation on. I hope.
Yea I hoping Boki is the leader for the summer league team. I know he has the talent, and the Summer League is a perfect place for Boki to show JVG what he has.
