1st unit Alston Artest Battier Scola Yao The starting lineup above will be good at setting the tempo of the game. It's a competent starting lineup with very good offense/defense and overall balance. 2nd unit Brooks Barry McGrady Landry Yao I like the way Brooks and Barry play together. They seem to have great chemistry thus far although they have a small sample size. McGrady and Landry have a great pick and roll as well as Mac's ability to create east opportunities for Landry and Yao. Furthermore, with Brooks running the point with Mac and Barry at the wings with Landry trailing this is a unit that can run and finish in transition but more importantly the ability to change the flow of the game will be huge. Just my perspective on things but all of this is pretty much irrelevant though because whoever starts the game is not as important as who's on the floor at the end of the game to finish the game.
I can't say I disagree with the idea of bringing Tmac off the bench. And while I've been kinda pro-Artest off the bench, we're 3-0 right now so we should probably keep using what works.
Battier returns off the bench. I honestly think all players returning from extended absence should spend no less than a week off the bench, star or no. We're going to have some great options with on court lineups once Battier rejoins the team. I hope Adelman makes the most of this very deep squad. Evan
