Thanks man, maybe you should pretend you saw Jamario Moon and stop. I'll continue to be Dream and never stop. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BuP1pJYsEPc" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
I don't understand why you are so desperate to insult me that you have to resolve to editing my quote. I love the Rockets, but if you really love the Jazz so much I'm sure there is a Jazz board somewhere.
I like your effort dude, it's like when Dream had that monster game against Seattle in the playoffs. <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ksaN-kEMadY" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe>
This is about Dream's blocks, quit trolling this thread. I'm just about done playing with you, but I could sure as hell see how desperate you get when you taste your own medicine. Can't take the heat? Stay out the kitchen
yes like this: <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/P-aUFJxcBb8" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> I hope the Rockets get some tall people so Dream can help them on block shots
Records are made to be broken, but it's going to take someone really special to break the blocks record. Going through these tough times as a Rockets fan, really makes me appreciate that much more what we had in Dream. Not that it takes tough times to know how truly special Dream was. Rockets fans that were there, knew how great Hakeem was. If you are a fan that came along after Dream, I'm sorry, you missed real greatness. So my answer is NO, it won't be broken in my life time, I hope.
I know that if I play this game with you, you'll only get desperate and use that childish quoting game again. You really shouldn't go around trolling when you yourself can't handle the heat. It's really sad. That being said, the answer to the thread's question is no it will probably never be broken.
What the hell happened in this thread I don't even know and to the OP, Probably not for a while because of the rule change and too many superstar touch foul calls. Plus I really doubt there will be any more good defensive centers that will have the longevity of Hakeem.
Basically some tmac fan who disliked my opinions on other threads decided to troll my thread about the Dream. nothing is sacred anymore, if I started a thread on how great Clutch#1 is, they'll spread their jealousy on it. It's fine. "IT IS WHAT IT IS"
Interesting, nobody mentioned McGrady more on this thread than yourself. You literally filled this thread about Tracy McGrady, it's a fact. It's all over the posts. Every time I spoke about the Rockets, you reply with something about McGrady. You are really bad at this tinman, seriously if you can't stand the heat stay out the kitchen.
yeah I don't like how LeBron decided to join them and everyone else trying to piggy back to win a title like Juwan or Mike Miller. But I'm happy you decided to stay on this thread. stay awhile, you should stay on this thread til someone breaks Dream's block record!
The caption to that photo: "Former UH coach Guy V. Lewis, left, and Hakeem Olajuwon helped transform the Cougars into a college basketball powerhouse." ... From the article... Guy V. Lewis admits he was skeptical. “After all,” he said, “how many times do you get a phone call from somebody in Africa saying he’s got a 7-footer who is ready to come to your school and change your team?” Then the taxi pulled up in front of the athletic building at the University of Houston and a 17-year-old Hakeem Olajuwon unfolded his long, lean body from out of the backseat. “When I saw him play on that first afternoon, I thought we could make something out of him,” Lewis said. “But it did take two years of me working with Hakeem on the power step every single day. One time in practice, I blew the whistle and stopped everything when he finally did the power step. I called the coaches over. 'Did you guys see what I’m seeing? If he can do that, we’re going places.’ ” And they went to three consecutive Final Fours, losing twice in the NCAA championship game. “I can’t really say that it surprises me that Hakeem wound up in the Hall of Fame,” Lewis said. “Because everything he did — blocked shots, dunking, the spin moves — had Hall of Fame written all over it. “It does make me proud to see him there. I coached a lot of guys, but most of them were proven products. This was a guy who had played three months of basketball when he came to us. He was 17 years old. But he was coachable. He always tried and tried. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/5982609.html
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to tinman again. I sincerely appreciate you as a poster and Rockets fan. People need to be reminded and others need to learn (especially in times like these) about Rockets history. Certain people need to realize this team didn't start when Stevie or Tracy got here. Keep the cause alive tinman
Deke couldve had a shot if his career hadnt ended trying to keep us in the playoffs. but no. i dont think it will be in danger anytime in the next 15-20 years.
Wait... I thought Dream only blocked shots by standing around the lane and taking advantage of the then rules, yet this shows him blocking a shot out by the 3-point line.
