Wii should be available in stores today (but go early!)

Yeah. My mom got me to take her to the airport last minute so I ended up missing the TRU opening and got their at 9:20am instead. They had 39 units and sold out in 5 minutes. I went across the street to the Best Buy and were told by the people in line that the employees had already said they didn't have any PS3s or Wiis. But they were staying just in case. I decided to check out Walmart but no go. So I went to another Best Buy and arrived there right when it opened. No Wiis either. Gawd dammit.
I didn't think about Circuit City. Dang.

 

I did! Quite easily actualy. I went to Meyerland Circuit City, got there at 10:05, did not recieve the voucher. There were some geeky emo kids laughing at me saying "we got here at 5:30, there is no way you will get one." They released the reserved ones that were not claimed at 11:05, I walked out of there laughing afterwards. Got it set up now, playing Zelda!!

 

Either that CC had a different policy from the one I went to or they just screwed themselves. On my voucher it said we had until 12 pm to pick it up.

 

The CC in our area had people waiting at 4 AM, so when I arrived at 30 minutes before opening. I was out of luck.

 

the willowbrook cc gave out vouchers to the first 30 people at 7am. I was pissed. I would have gottent there that early if I would have known thats how they were going to do it.

 

I was there. Number 21 at 8am

 

I got to Toys R Us at 8 am and was the probably like the 40th person in line. Then of course people kept coming and out of the lines in the front with coffee, breakfast, etc and the line in front was getting longer!!

By 8:50, when the vouchers were handed out I was the 52nd person in line and they had 50 freakin units!!!!!!!!!

Stupid ass families were getting four vouchers. Dumb ass parents were claiming how the kids arent really theirs and deserve their own vouchers. I swear I felt like kicking some ASS!

I left and drove across the street to CC which opened at 10:00. I was the 25th person in line and somebody in the front said they are getting 25. But then the store manager came out and said they have 21. Then I asked everybody in the front if they were getting one and four actually said they were waiting with their friends and only wanted one. I felt like hugging and kissing these strangers.

At 10:30 I walked out with my own WII!!!!! I think I cried a little bit.

I got in on the KBtoys bundle the night they were released. I've been playing it for the last week.

The graphics aren't ridiculous, the games aren't all that bloody or realistic, but the thing is so darn FUN.
