CONGRATULATIONS ^money makes it more justifiable. banging random ugly dudes principally for the pay is a hell of a bad thing. banging random ugly dudes for no pay just calls into question your basic humanity. and can you not get into your head that playing a part in a movie where Amon ultimately gets hanged for his crimes, and is a stirring tribute to the Jews murdered during WW2, and is directed by one of the finest Jewish directors in the world---is a hell of a lot different than play-fighting in tribute to your sick Nazi heroes. your only defense is that "he might have been doing it to make the Nazis look worse". Why, yes, Ralph Fiennes did that by shooting Jews in cold blood on screen, and then getting hanged for his crimes, in accordance with a thunderously good script. how mr. tea party playing as a SS division out of pure desire to reacquaint himself of the mass slaughter or Eastern Europeans and with an implicit glorification of everything the Nazis did---is the same---is beyond me. (wow, gotta give you and basso credit. manufacturing rage points for a partisan pissing match is harder than I thought)
So this act of dressing up as an SS soldier (which you previously suggested was worse then a married man with kids sending a dic-pic to some 18 year-old girl) is justified to you if the actor got paid? If he was playing a Nazi at an American WWII reenactment then my guess is he was shot. I doubt the WWII Historical Reenactment Society (which he was a part of) would have the Nazis winning. It was an American WWII reenactment so the event would of been a tribute to the Allies in the same way you think Schindler's List is a tribute to Jews (it wasn't).
WAIT A SECOND...YOU'RE RIGHT. TOM CRUISE IS A SCOUNDREL let's go chase him off with pitchforks. THIS MAKES ME EVEN MADDER AT MR. TEA PARTY WHO IS AN EVEN WORSE SCOUNDREL. my god dude, your arguments are like a swiss cheese full of assumptions and contradictions. now you're trying to defend Tom Cruise the scoundrel, to defend Mr. Tea Party. DESPICABLE. I spit in your general direction. you are shiftless and devious. I would never want you or anyone of your political persuasion to be in positions of power, NO SIR. my anger, it CANNOT BE RESTRAINED.
(when do i get the applause and cyber-respect for my one-man crusade of assumptions and bad blog links to pointlessly disparage someone over something ridiculously overblown and almost irrelevant? the rage manufacture and general pointlessness of my despair is slowly killing me. I hope it comes before WienerGate becomes another case of BlogFraudandLitiGate)
So he's exploring what options he should take in a criminal investigation, so what is your point? That since he hasn't already filed a criminal report, he is guilty? And that looks like nothing more than someone, probably from a blog, making fun of Anthony Weiner. So this is your evidence? Are you kidding me? And in typical fashion, you provide no links whatsoever.
Do you need advice on what to do if someone hacked your accounts and sexually harassed someone in your name? Doubt it. Yes. A Congressman would report if his accounts had been hacked. It's a security issue. But if you want more........... http://minx.cc/?post=316845 How about 'Why did he lie to the press and claim he didn't know her?' or 'Why is this 18 year-old community college coed 1 of 91 people you follow on twitter?' What evidence would you like? He is purposely not gonna take this to court (I am willing to bet 20 dollars to the tip jar on that). He has committed no crimes right now, but if he lies to the FBI and says "I was hacked. go investigate" then he has. The FBI would then ask Twitter/Yfrog to release the IP addresses and they would show it came from him and he would be screwed.
Doesn't somebody have the energy to spoil this tallanvor fool's fun? Repeatedly drawing right, and posting extremely partisan blogs don't exactly give you an unbiased reputation 'round here partner. We get it. You read conservative showpiece blogs, and you moonlight as the conservative provocateur on a liberal over-equipped board. Why is bringing Weiner down so important to your agenda? You bicker cemantics to the point where you don't even realize that nobody here is really defending AW's actions, as much as they are playing devil's advocate to your extremely arbitrarily conservative arguments. It surely can't be partisan fueled desperation. Can it? You're a shapeshifter. You're talents would be better suited defending left.
You know, I only joined the discussion in the last day, and I've read your posts in this thread with varying interest, so forgive my wording. You are not pushing a conservative agenda here, as you usually do. You are firmly pursuing an agenda opposing the left, and vicariously AW, by prosecuting Weiner's conviction in both the court of public opinion, and based on your former posts I believe it is because he is a Democrat, and you lean right.
I enjoy seeing any politician who takes pictures of his thunder and sends it to 18 year old girls get their due. Republican or Democrat. Republicans won't win the seat even if Weiner is shown to be guilty, so I personally gain nothing.
You know what, so do I. Politicians with skeletons in their closet deserve them to be exposed. Weiner has had been outed, assuming certain assertions are true, yet you still seem compelled to ensure the quality of his prosecution on this board. Ignoring our disagreement about the severity, gravity of the allegations, are you really trying to honestly say that you would be as vigilant in both the elasticity and quantity of your posts if Mitch McConnell was accused of the same?
Well you should of picked a better politician (since McConnell is a gutless turd), but I understand your point none the less. I respond to posts because people keep asking questions. Such as 'what's the evidence other then him not contacting the authorities?'. Almost everything I write is a response to someone else responding to me (usually with personal attacks).
McConnell was a R-placeholder. I'll give you credit for not getting personal when many have against you, but you are consistently getting partisan, which to me, is almost as bad.
Iowahawk: Help Me Bring the Weiner Hacker to Justice I have never been much of a community activist, but I can no longer sit idly while America remains at risk of attack by the most nefarious identity thief in the history of Internet. And cheap page views are to be had. The Weinergate facts, as we so far know them: on May 28, @RepWeiner, the verified Twitter account of US Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY), posted a tweet of a y.frog photo of a slightly-built white male straining to pitch a pup tent in a pair of grey Hanes Underoos. Within seconds, Congressman Weiner arrived at the scene of the cybercrime and instantly recognized it as the work of a hacker who had simultaneously broken into his Twitter, Facebook and y.frog accounts. Working quickly, and without regard to his own safety, Congressman Weiner used his elite law school-honed internet security coding skills to wrest back control of his accounts, delete the offending tweet and photo, as well as unfollow a Seattle coed to whom it was sent. His Twitter perimeter once again secured, the intrepid Congressmen sent out a new tweet explaining how he was victimized by an Internet criminal mastermind. Since the incident, the famously modest Congressman Weiner had remained demure on how he single-handedly thwarted his anonymous attacker, and how the attacker managed to possibly steal his Blackberry camera phone. And, for whatever reason, has thusfar also chosen not to involve the law enforcement authorities. As much as I admire Congressman Weiner's Gandhi-like forgiving attitude toward his assailant - as well as his world class ninja programming skills - I'm afraid this incident doesn't just involve him.*For, after all, what Internet user is safe when the person who hacked this unsuspecting Weiner remains at large? Okay, maybe not "large," but still, come on man. Who's to say this same criminal hasn't somehow hacked my last 5 federal income tax returns with fraudulent deductions for alcohol-related blogging expenses? I say no - we cannot as an online community let this tragic crime go unpunished. That it why I am announcing the Weiner Hacker Prize Fund to award a generous bounty for information leading to the arrest, prosecution and conviction of Pubic Enemy #1 - the pervert who stole Congressman Weiner's underpants identity. To get things rolling, I will seed it with $1000 of my own personal 2010 federal tax refund. I am leaving the comments section on this post open for anyone who would like to add their own contribution to the bounty, as well as tips and clues to pass on to law enforcement officials.*Please though - do not interfere with any official crime investigation. Let's leave the detective work to hardboiled gumshoes like Jim Treacher and Ace of Spades. So let's get involved and work to get this mysterious criminal off our online streets. Until he is brought to justice, remember: You May Already Be a Weiner.
There isn't a public figure alive that doesn't do something potentially embarrassing. I personally wouldn't want to vote for a guy that likes to dress up in an SS uniform and play war any more than I would want one who dresses up like a panda and goes to anime conventions. The correct response to being caught sending weeweepics or dressing up as a Nazi is to point and laugh, especially when they try to spin it and worm out of it. I'm not a fan of moral panic and I hate when people engage in it. Please set your partisan biases aside and join together in what these tabloid stories require: humiliation and laughter.
I generally don't have problems with what congresscritters do with other consenting adults (that don't work for them), but Congressman Weiner has a few screws loose, and if this incident and his ridiculous excuses are what it takes for his constituents to see it, all the better.
