By 2011 the Euros may very well be paying more than max NBA contracts if our dollar continues to be devalued. I am betting it happens.

I loved him in Meatballs and My Bodyguard, but he kind of fell off the map after that.

They still own his rights but we both know it's a "What have you done for me lately?" type league. As it stands, his first offseason in charge honestly could not have gone any worse. Everything from the massive downgrade in talent to his inability to negiotate the buyout for Rubio.

This team might win 15 games next year. I feel sorry for Al Jefferson and Kurt Rambis has no idea what he has gotten himself into.

sorry youre confused. i distinctly remember many board members wanting roy so im not the only one that thought roy was going to be a solid nba pickup. nobody i knew thought bargnani was worth a #1 pick. i didnt say he was a consensus #1 pick so i dont know where you got that from.

so when we got screwed out of roy, i remember a few members cursing at JVG for the meaningless game we won during the regular season... then more and more members starting echoing the same sentiments when they realized how good roy is. i had high hopes for LMA, roy, foye, gay, and carney..... some worked out, some didnt. personally i wouldve picked up LMA over roy simply because that's what you do... pick up good big players vs guards. so the first guard to be picked up in that draft was roy, that must mean something right? i dunno, maybe it's just me

People on the board wanted Roy because they read mock drafts and knew that Roy had a chance of falling to our pick. Nobody wanted Bargnani because he was penciled into Toronto at the beginning of the process. The same with Thomas and Aldridge, everyone expected those guys to be gone when our pick came around.

We were all pretty sure that Roy would be drafted close to our rage, there were people who wanted Foye, Gay and even JJ Redick because those guys seemed available when we pick. The only reason you remember Roy is because he turned out to be the best amongst that group of guys. If JJ Redick turned out to be an all star you'd be saying man I wanted JJ Redick that day...

When our pick came around,I was very apprehensive, thinking that JJ Redick would be the choice. I felt Roy would be gone,he was the player that I wanted.

"Wicky Wubio!" I really don't care about this issue, but the name distortion is really funny.
