If you were in the same shoes as that guy getting his balls searched, you will feel really awkward and enraged at the same time because the cop probably did that on purpose...

There two different explanations. Some people say it started in jail when homosexuals were trying to let it be known. The other is just that alot of people grew up getting hand-me-downs from family members who are bigger than them or their parents bought them clothes that were too big so they have time to grow into them. That's just how it started now its a style.

With that being said, i think it's more of an age/maturity issue. As a grown man, my jeans probably hang a little lower than my waist because thats just comfortable for me but i just don't understand these kids nowadays. I see them walking around with their full rear ends hanging out of their pants, ridiculous. And its completely intentional because the style is tighter clothes now anyways.

What's funny was when I was in Houston, most of the inner city youth who I saw (like say at the mall) used to wear there really baggy pants below the waist. But when I moved to NYC, I see alot of the inner city youth here wearing really tight hipster jeans (like in Harlem or Queens). They also dress like out of the 80's with bright neon clothing also. These are the same folks who walk around the subway blasting rap music out of their boombox.

It started before color tv and a lot of people here, including myself and even Rocket River, were born.
