I don't know how much this plays into it, but for some reason Miller hates the Clippers. When he joined the team in '02 (I think it was), it seemed like he would be a savior since they really needed a PG and he was the top assist man the previous year. However, his negative attitude and lackluster play that year basically destroyed the hopes of that promising young franchise. Contrast that with what Sam Cassell (with far less gaudy stats) did when he joined.
I'm surprised this hasn't been posted. Andre and Blake have a bit of a recent history... <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gLAPJiETLCE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> haha...Blake totally had that coming, and it looks like Andre the bullet is still on the war path. All that aside, Blake totally deserves an all-star spot, as does Aldridge and many others that won't get one.
Lebron was one of 4 or 5 players ever to get 20-5-5, and he made his team like 20 games better so i don't know how you can say he didn't have the stats.
Lebrons numbers are better then I thought, but what were they at the all star break?? not the end of the season?? Lebron is the better player, but its tougher to make the squad as a 2 or 3 then it is as a big....... Lebron should have made it as well, but I still think Blake is the better rookie....
LeBron wasn't the absolute monster in his rookie season that he is now, but he was still performing at a damn good level. He didn't make the All-Star team that year...Jamaal Magloire did. To use that as an argument against someone else's All-Star selection years later is just stupid.

Anyone who would choose LA over Blake hasn't watched either play. Stats might look close but Blake means so much more to this team winning than LA (who disappears from time to time in games).
I was one of the people who thought Aldridge should have made it over Griffin. Numbers dont tell everything. LA is the number one option and is carrying his team. Blazers lost a lot of players and they are still winning.
lmao nice ankle breaker from rose, and yeah that was definitely a block.. refs mistakenly gave rose 2 free pts there.
It's true though. Blake isn't living the hype. He's got a vet team and his presence should be enough to result in a better record.
Nothing against Zach Randolph, but I would rather see Rudy Gay in the ASG. Blake Griffin can be an All-Star and ROTY?
