I would think that players would want to come here because they will see we our an organization that wants to win. Whether or not we have had some bad free agent singings and terrible drafts so have a lot of the other Nba teams. But JVG is not going to bring in players that half ass on the court unless its to better the future of the team i.e. Clearance for Mooch. You either play hard and smart or your gone. This off season will depend on how well the Rockets do and if they make the playoffs. I think Jeff already has it in his mind who he wants here and who he doesnt. I think he is just giving people a fair shot to prove him wrong. We dont know what goes on behind closed doors or during thier practice time. But yeah I agree that veterans will want to play for Jeff and the Rockets as longs as they know they will get some p.t. which i think is why Ward didnt come here. He probably knew Francis wasnt about to give him hardly any minutes...Even though he has his ups and downs he is still an All star and a tough act to follow. Just look at Jim Jackson he knew damn well what he was going to be getting when he came here and I think he loves this type of game. Steve is the General on offence but J.J is the man directing players on defense...Sorry to get off topic.
Who am I kidding its gotta be the massive amounts of strip clubs and hookers in H Town!!!

cant leave all that roster space empty, someones gotta fill it if you dont want your players going 48 mpg. its what happens when you have 50 million tied up in 3 players.

if you hate the rockets org for not signing anthony goldwire, oliver miller.....
