I missed it live, but i watched the many replays on it. Was it recorded like that? What is up with the quality level? I remember a thread about the type of recording they use to make videos and movies and stuff. This one looks like some kind of production.
I don't think it was rehearsed, I think it was just Eminem being Eminem. Moby's a hater and Em ain't gone stand around and be hated on, Yo!
I am not saying it was rehersed. I am talking about the entire show. I am talking about the film quality.
This is hilarious because DrewP is actually doing what Eminem probably loves the most... start controversy over him. Poor Drew's been had and he doesn't even realize it... And the rest of you guys arguing over this are just as silly. I'm sure some of you are the same ones buying console and PC games where killing, blood and gore are standard, right? What? You don't go to movies where they kill and murder people? Eminem needs no defense - he's a marketing machine and you guys (for and against) are just his tools... the mere fact you're in here arguing over this thread for this long exemplifies the controversy he wants because it keeps him in the spotlight... more news, more curious minds, more listeners, more sales, etc, etc.
I'm afraid that the old man has something here. Seriously, you are a wise and sage Doctor of Dunk, and I agree with what I quoted 100%. I know that I have had several posts in this thread, but it is hard not to say something. However, I even said at one point that I could not believe that I was giving this clown (Eminem) any attention by talking about him. So, I say let's take the good Doctor's words to heart. Let this thread die and be retired in the Hangout hall of fame threads.
we never went to high school together. he is just an alumni. he decided to come back one day to high school to talk to the tv class, and the dumb theather kids. He showed us some of his past videos he directed, and showed us his latest one with U2. The song was elevation.
Say what you want about Eminem, but Track No. 18 on his newest CD is a great song. The beat is amazing, totally pumps me up.
