I wanted to see what the actual vote splits were on the reason(s) behind this collapse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LN23qErZDM
Most blame? Gotta be coaching... that's the root of most all other shortcomings - Dwight checking out, Harden's ball dominance leading to turnovers, lack of proper utilization of the rest of the roster... So plenty of blame - but it all starts with the piss poor coaching....
Surely this is the 5th+ thread on this subject. Surely it was answered in one of those threads. Blame Daryl. Dwight Coward? Dwight may have quit but only after the Rockets quit on him. Lack of secondary scorer? Dale Murray. How pathetic a guy fresh off the boat from China is the 2nd best scorer. Dale Murray? DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! Coaching? Dale Murray. Sam Dekker? Dale Murray. Spoiler Wait, wait, wait,...it's all Les' fault. Les told Morey to go star ****ing after Dwight. Les was too cheap to get James a 2nd option. Les enables Harden. Les hired, gave the extension & fired McHale. Les was also too cheap to bring in a real replacement. Les demanded the Rockets take Sam Dekker with the 18th pick.
The porous defense is the biggest reason. Teams have way too easy of a time penetrating on our defense.
its gotta be dekker, that mother ************. i dont believe it. he was the chosen one! he was supposed to lead us to the promised land. now look at him? cant even get on the court in garbage time.
Blame this and blame that The Blaming Merry Go Around Game here in the TY Center and on this fanboard
Les Alexander must have been the smartest, most resourceful, most knowledgeable NBA owner to date :grin::grin:
Dale Marley makes the best sense, but I think Le$ Alexandra tied his hands. His moves were probably made with Le$ putting a gun to his head... so to speak. So basically, our real problem is the puke-inducing outdated space uniforms. Fun Fact: the term "Rockets Red" was coined from the blood streaming from people's eyes after having to see those ugly uniforms for 48 minutes.
The problem is James Harden and the team's chemistry. Your best player and leader should bring the team together and build a great team, chemistry. James Harden is not that player and that's why the team has a bad chemistry and that's why they suck. End of discussion, move on now...
