Points would never be a problem if we had T-Mac AND Kobe. i'm sure they'd have much better chemistry than T-Mac and Yao. Also, it's not like Yao is this defensive stopper who doesnt let people come in the paint. when he's out of the game our defense actually improves (against quicker teams). Deke is also much better defensively than Yao could ever dream to be. I would just LOVE to see Kobe and T-Mac on the same team. that's the closest thing to Jordan and Pippen.

I think if Yao could go to Lakers, it would be a good thing for Yao.

I have an impression that with the arrival of Yao, our defense in paint improved a lot.

Sometimes a guard can make a layup against Yao, but more often Yao alters the shot.

Fronting is a problem not too difficult to solve. Its about coaching, passing, and role playing.

No one is perfect. You think Dirk, Amare, Gosol, Boozer, Shaq... will make the team better? Maybe in some games, but overall? The only person that will improve the chance of rockets getting a championship is Duncun. For the future Dwight is a good choice too.

Your convenient cherry picking/selective memory/revisionist history is just hilarious. Here are Boozer's stats vs. the list above:

    Garnett
Date---- Min --- FG --- PTS
    8-Dec --- 37 -- 4-17 -- 8
    22-Jan -- 33 -- 9-14 -- 18
    2-Mar --- 25 -- 4-7 --- 8
    28-Mar -- 39 -- 11-21 - 25
    Average 33.5 -------- 14.75

    Miller
    22-Nov -- 39 -- 14-20 -- 32
    15-Dec -- 40 -- 5-12 -- 14
    6-Apr --- 41 --- 8-14 -- 17
    Average - 40 ----------- 21

    Duncan
    29-Nov -- 38 --- 10-16 -- 23
    28-Dec -- 27 --- 2-10 --- 9
    31-Jan --- DNP
    30-Mar -- 37 --- 8-15 --- 18
    Average - 34 ----- 16.66666667

    Rasheed
    6-Nov --- 37 --- 8-17 --- 20
    17-Jan -- 42 --- 10-21 -- 20
    Average - 39.5 ---------- 20

    Bynum
    24-Nov -- 38 --- 13-26 -- 31
    30-Nov -- 34 --- 11-16 -- 26
    26-Feb -- 30 ---- 6-11 -- 13
    Average - 34 ------- 23.33333333

    Big Ben
    20-Jan -- 38 --- 7-13 --- 19
    5-Feb DNP

    Dwight Howard
    27-Nov -- 40 --- 10-22 -- 21
    14-Mar -- 43 --- 14-24 -- 29
    Average 41.5 ------------ 25

    Now here is Yao:
    1-Nov -- 38 --- 10-18 -- 24
    5-Jan -- 38 --- 6-13 --- 15
    1-Apr -- 26 --- 4-13 --- 13
    18-Apr - 19 --- 3-7 ---- 9
    Average 30.25 ------- 15.25

From where I'm standing, it looks like Yao played Boozer as well (if not better) than anyone. In fact, from where I'm standing, it wasn't until the playoffs, when JVG completely got outcoached by Jerry Sloan did Boozer go off. Boozer has been using Sloan's strategy to exploit Yao's footspeed ever since.

So from where I'm standing, it looks like that both of you are lying sacks of ****.

But wait, what am I saying? Don't let facts get in the way of your bullsh1t.

And when that fails, you can always cherry pick some more stats to suit your points.

i am sorry man, i copy the fake stat out of a fake site called www.NBA.com.
here is how i got the stat:
    go to NBA.com
    go to STAT
    there are 5 catagories right?
the first one is "Leaders by catagory": i chose Efficency
    2nd: Year and Season: i chose 2006-2007
3rd: Player Options: i chose PF/C depending on which one i looked at
    4th: Filter Options
5th: Splits: this one is tricky. let say i wanna look at R. Wallace vs Boozer matchup. i chose "vs Detroit", and look down and find Boozer's stat vs Detroit
i repeated this until i got all the stats vs Boozer

Unlike u, im NOT saying that your stats are fake, but i chose their season average against each other instead of one single game. Which Stat do u think has more value? Season Avg or one single matchup?

make sure u come back with a screen shot to prove me wrong. otherwise u got totally owned

Trade Yao for Andrew Bynum. Bynum has more fire than Yao. Yao is a softie and will get abuse forever.

I don't think Yao played Boozer during the regular season last year. He was on Okur. Only in the postseason did Gundy decide to switch and play Yao on Boozer...

He played minutes against both. For example, in our last game against Utah, Yao on Boozer because Chuck couldn't guard him one on one. As a result, Okur went off on us with 20 points (I think) from behind the three point line.

Yao is the only Rockets player has trade value, and even TMac does not have too much trade value at all. So, if Rockets really want to trade Yao, they can send him to Chicago in exchange for Ben Wallace who can guard any big man in the league. If the trade can happen, Rockets have to develop Scola to be the second offense power, and I think he really can do it.

I have watched a lot of Rocket games since Yao was drafted. Granted, Yao has always had problems with quick penetrating guards and P&R defense, but I think he has done great in anchoring the interior defense. There is no player that's perfect, even Shaq had his issues in defending P&R in his prime. Talking about clutch shot, Shaq could not even buy a free throw. So stop all this non-sense about trading Yao, just because he is not perfect.

Man, posts like this are more frustrating than games lost. Are you really serious to trade Yao for Ben Wallace?

    End of argument.

Y'all are ridiculous with this trade Yao talk, that's even more ridiculous than saying trade T-Mac. The stars on this team are not the problem. I really don't know what the problem is. I watched the game and for the life of me cannot understand why we gave up a 17 pt 3rd quarter lead, but I know for a fact that just trading away one of our two best players is clearly not the answer. Be real.

Oh, and like it was earlier stated - Yao is a cash cow, you don't trade away a billion fans. It will NEVER happen, Yao will be a Rocket for the rest of his career, if you don't like it - move to Dallas or San Antonio.

Why don't trade Yao for Chris Bosh? I think that will be good for both Yao and Rockets. Raptors have good pgs and shooters. With Yao, they will be the top team in east. With Bosh, Rockets can play fast pace.

Chris Bosh is a PF. Both rockets and raptors will be dead after this trade

Yeah, Chris Bosh is a PF, but he is a big man that Rockets need. He is fast and powerful, and can play both low and high post. He even can shoot 3.

Andrea Bargnani is playing center for Raptors now, but actually he is a PF. His position is overlap with Bosh. T. J Ford, Jose Calderon are both good pgs, and Jason Kapono is a great 3pt shooter. With Yao, Raptors will be the top team in east. :D

Keep repeating every single weakness of Yao for another 10,000 times and maybe you someday will get there, in year 2020 or so. Seriously, what else can you do other than keep repeating his weaknesses in every single one of your b****y posts? I thought you would get bored some time. Or perhaps you have no life at allother than sitting in front of your computer to hate on certain people. Right, the guy has to have be flawless in order to escape your stupid relentless bashing. Who do you think you are anyway?
