Granted Yao and T-Mac are of the same mold meaning they don't cause any waves or show much toughness when other teams start to man handle them. I wish the rockets would just keep them but put players that are tough and can create their own shots.

Where were Yao when the Mavs were rallying from 17 points down?

How many points and how did he score his points in the 4th quarter?

If i'm not mistaken, all his points in the 4th quarters were either unchallenged dunks set up by t-mac or free throws. He missed a free throw that ended the game.

Wing players are the ones who close the games in the 4th quarter. Zone defense makes the big men easy to be neutralized and that's what teams usually do in the 4th. It's stupid to blame the big man for haven't scored enough in the 4th. Where were our perimeter players. What were they doing? What did they do?

I think the OP made some valid points even though not too many people will agree to trade Yao. But you are just dumb.

When the Mavs rally from 17 to 12, Yao was chilling on the bench
When the Mavs rally from 12 to 4, Yao was still chilling because:
    A) no one could get the ball to Yao (0 shot-ATTEMPT during that strech)
    B) he was getting double-team on every possession

Completely stupid thread. Yao doesn't dissappear in crunch time. His teammates dissappear. What kind of production did you see out of anyone else? Yao should be traded with fair weather fans like these. Put Yao with Dwayne Wade and see how ya like that! Guaranteed, the Miami Heat with Yao would win the title.

Problem with the Rockets is that they don't have that fast speedy guard that can slice through defenses and cause defenses to collapse leaving a wide open unguarded center like D-Wade and Shaq. The Rockets just have plain sucky three point shooters at least the ones who are starting.

Didn't Aaron Brooks win a 3 point shooting contest? Didn't Brooks beat out Novak in a 3 point shooting contest? What about speed? Didn't Brooks get time with Team USA and went up against Kobe, Kidd, Lebron and Carmelo. He held his own I recall. What about Francis and his ability for cutting into traffic? This isn't about Yao. It was never just about Yao. The buck stops at Adelman's office.

Again, it's always someone's faults. If Yao can't get ball when a nobody like Bass guards him, I'm questioning how good is Yao.

Adelman brought Yao in to score and stop the comeback. He failed miserably.

How do you get one of those guards you covet so much, if not with Tmac or Yao trade?

    Wait for the draft?

Please don't say trade someone else on the team. They have zero value and will not get you that point guard.

What a hater you are and how much more dumb can people get?

Did Yao play 1 on 5 or what?

Adelman put 5 players on the court to score and stop the comeback. The team failed.

He didn't give the Rockets anything, except a few defensive rebounds! He was supposed to be our superstar, or is he?

Just play Francis and Brooks. Live with a few rookie mistakes Brooks will make. That'll get you the guard play this team so desparately needs.

I wish we can trade Yao for Kobe so that all the stupid "Yao Only Fans" can post on the lakers forum. We need a guy with a killer instinct. If we can put a package together for Kobe and Bynum we would be better off than we are right now. Its not the coach thats the problem people.

There are more than 1 superstars on the team. And that superstar is a wing player who is supposed to shine in the 4th QTR. Next.

Yao isn't losing games for the Rox. Tracy is. The guy insists on throwing up long jumpers when his shot is flat. I cringe when I see him throw a low-percentage shot in the clutch. Meaning I cringe every time he is on the court.

    Tracy+filler for a decent PG?

You are the only stupid one here. Tmac should be the one to go if we have to trade either Yao or him.
