Change the topic?. the topic is about yao being a choker. yes he is. what do you do with chokers like yao and McGrady. you trade them. they've had since 3 years and all they have done is choke. stop calling yao some tough cold blooded killer. Tracy is even a bigger choker. We want to see this team win. the team comes bove any single player There great players, but in the end there not winners. they dissapear. they dissapear when the going gets tough. yao couldnt even defend a 50 year old shaq in the last quarter. all he does is commit stupid ass fouls or burp the ball up. Tracy just shoots jumpshots and wilts.he can beat anyone off the dribble yet he continues shooting pathetic jumpshots. no heart. no winner mentality. SM is right. we need a fresh start. this is the last chance for these 2 chokers to prove us wrong.
ROFL, you are really trying very hard to convince me that you are r****ded. You have make an accusation that I wouldn't trade Yao for Howard. I challenged you to quote the post in which I have said it. Can you? Now you are doing whatever you can to avoid responding to the challenge. That's why I call you a chicken. Let me know if you need further help.
Don't trade neither Mcgrady or Yao ... First of all things The Houston Rockets have a great team this year. Without looking at the record. T-Mac has been playing hurt, and I still like this team FINAL RECORD 50-32 . I BELIEVE
That is dumbbbb T-MAC a choker? Maybe YAO but T-MAC? Crazy talk right there. T-mac has not been able to feel his fingers in the last few games and still is playing I have never seen T-MAC CHOKEEEEEEEE
My thoughts on Yao are this. He's been officiated *so* badly and unfairly that he can't play anymore. Did you watch him just stand there with his hands up against Shaq? If he bodies up Shaq it is a foul. If he reaches to swipe the ball it is a foul. If he attempts to block the shot it is a foul. So all he can do is just stand there like a 7'6" stiff. Note that players do all the things above to Yao and almost never get called for a foul. Heck, they're even allowed to hit him across the arms or even in the face without impunity. On offense, the slightest bump caused by Yao is an offensive foul. So now, he's turned into the tallest fade away jump shooter in the world. Earlier in his career, he had a spin move, could back you down, etc. Those things are all fouls now. No wonder he is so upset and depressed. The officials jerk him around like a marionette. Seriously, he should go back to China where he might get some respect and fairness in officiating.
yeah, he got the best of an INJURED 35 years old man who got in foul trouble early in the game.. last night, however, Yao, the BBS-proclaimed best center in the league, got owned by a 36 year old Shaq.. what does that mean?
if you'd trade yao, you'd have other problems with other centers. the only player i'd trade yao for, is Dwight Howard.
LMAO... I really didn't want to reply again because you got enough embarrassment in this thread, but since you've been stalking me and asking "why didn't you response", I am gonna lay it down on you just one more time.. first of all, to get things straight, here's the post by Phreak that you didn't seem to comprehend due to your very narrow attention span: do you get that? Ming WASN'T on Boozer in the regular season.. now, to think about our original argument, we were talking about who can "STOP" Boozer, I gave you examples where the 4 players I mentioned STOPPED him. I didn't need season averages to prove point, all I care about is that someone was able to stop him in a given game, and Yao WASN'T able to do in the playoffs not a single time, he got owned by him everytime.. I'm just tired of you weirdo YOFs thinking that Yao is the best player in the league right now. you're so delusional that it's hard to even have an intelligent conversation with y'all. you love Yao, great, I love him too, but I am realistic, and I know for a fact that trading him for a player like Nash, Kobe, Howard, Garnette...etc would make the Rockets BETTER basketball wise. now, I acknowledged earlier that a trade involving Yao would NEVER happen because of MONEY ISSUES. you get that? Les isn't stupid to trade away a billion fans. without Yao, Toyota Center would NEVER sell out, especially with the dismal performance of the Rockets lately. now, let's put an end to this, please. and let's let this thread die already because even though it presents a valid argument, it is definitely unrealistic because it will NEVER, and I repeat, NEVER, happen.
Why don't you become an Orlando Magic fan? You are such a loser to put down our own star players. It just speaks volumes that why you are downgraded to a "rookie" after more than 6,300 posts you made in this board, because you are so disgustingly pathetic.
criticizing a player on your favorite team doesn't make you a "disgustingly pathetic loser". it actually means that you have f***in eyes to watch the game with and you actually care about the whole team not just your 7'6 hero..
Where are you f***ing eyes (sorry that I have to come down to your level)? Where did I say I only cared about "my 7'6 hero"? I care about the entire team and I care if this team wins or lose. People like you and blazer_ben are the ones who should be ashamed of your selves. If you care about this team, don't call names or use dirty words. Criticizing is not what he was doing.
Okay I didnt read the whole thread, but only one thing needs to be said.. The thread starter knows nothing about basketball. You're going to trade one of the top (if not THE top) defensive presences in the league because he is a defensive liability? Do you know what it means to have a 7'6 center in the lane defensively? Not to mention the guy can actually throw up some points. O how many teams would do anything to get Yao... Yea trade him. zzz
Yao for Dwight Howard, Rashard Lewis... Then Get Yao back in 3 years. Hey it could happen.... its the magic.
LMAO sorry fella, but I stopped reading right there.. calling Yao "one of the top (if not the top) defensive presences" is an absolute joke.. I really hate this video because whoever made it is a total A-hole, but I think you gotta take a look at it to reevaluate your assessment of Yao's defense: I give him credit for being a great Offensive player, a very smart interior passer, and a sharp shooter, but I won't lie to you, he isn't even close to being an above-average defender.. he is a liability on Defense, but his offense makes up for that and that's why he is a very good NBA player..
Means you win some you lose some. Yao got proclaimed best center by media, mostly from coming out on top in games against Shaq. Of course the BBS will pick up on that. They're not talking up Chris Kaman here Good look holding back BBS Yao fans, there's only millions more of the same waiting behind them..
Not trying to continue an argument with you, but thank you for sharing a video, which obviously is an ideal "weapon" for people like you. Yao is never a great defender, but is not as bad as you and others have made him to be. If you listened to JVG at the game last night, even he said people have underestimated Yao's defense, because when he is there, it is very hard to score under basket (go back to listen to what he said). Even greatest defenders get dunked on. Did you see that Dream got dunked on by Kevin (Phenix player), and Jodan and Pippen got dunked on at the same time by that NY player at one of their play-off game?
LOL at you using highlights to prove a point. Try watching games. JVG said last night Yao's defense is very underrated. He said he is very hard to score on. I'll take his word and watching games over your fair-weather assessments.
