Stupid monkey, who care. I can't belive there is no coach can develop Yao's sports talent in Rockets. If Rockets can't do it, let Yao to LA. If Yao help a team get more success, his commercial value would increased as multiple.
While I would not be opposed to trading Yao, we're not in crunch time, peoples. We're FINE; this is a team that is trying to learn a new offense. PATIENCE!
Yao is untradeable. Adelman need to adapt the combination when opponent go small or change gameplan (cutters that can score or shooters who can light up) to make opponent pays when they front Yao.
Wow, so many people missed the point of this thread by so much, it would be funny if it wasn't so sad. 1. I am not a Tracy only fan. I have no doubt such things exist, but I was here before Tracy was, and I have made trade proposals involving Tracy before. Just because someone thinks there is merit in considering trades for Yao does not make them a fan of some other specific player. This is probably hard for the YOFs to understand, but some of us are more concerned with the team winning championships than any particular player. 2. This has nothing to do with Yao's stats, either in this game or really any game for that matter. It has to do with the exploitable weakness that Yao has, the ease with which it can be exploited by other teams, and the difficulty that the team has in taking advantage of the mismatch Yao creates. I am not disputing that Yao is a great player, in fact I said so in my original post. All of the posts that talked about Yao's abilities, and especially all the ones that spoke about his numbers in the Dallas game where pointless. 3. I already acknowledged Yao's monetary value. This thread is not about Les's willingness to trade Yao. This thread is about the basketball reasons for trading Yao. I don't know about the rest of you, but I get no money from the Rockets, no matter how many people watch them in China or anywhere else. 4. I would never trade Yao straight up for one player. There is no one in the league that has value equal to Yao. I would trade him in a package with some of the players I would like to get rid of and get another package back that perhaps doesn't have a star on Yao's level, but has one or more star players and multiple solid player, for example: Rockets out: Yao, Rafer, Francis, James, Snyder Rockets in: Bynum, Mobley, Brand, Farmar, Livingston Lakers out: Bryant, Farmar, Bynum Lakers in: Yao, Francis, James Clippers out: Brand, Livingston, Mobley Clippers in: Snyder, Alston, Bryant Maybe a first rounder to the Lakers. 5. Is moniker Mandarin for monkey or something?
I know this has been said a million times, but the problem that the rockets have is not Yao, it's the PG, we need a point guard that can get to the hole and create, and average more than 23% from the 3 point line...tradeing Yao wouldn't solve any of the problem but worsen everything that Rockets had built up until now, coz Yao is the most consistant player on the roster, and he had TWO bad games where tracy was out and defense was fronting him and fouling him like crazy because they don't have to worry about anyone else on the roster...instead of bashing and trading away your most consistant player, why not upgrade the supporting cast around him? because the rockets need a 3rd scoring option, and that should be the main focus...at last, it's only been 12 games, we have hang close through the last four games excluding the against the suns, so with a new coach and a new system, bunch of new players, shouldn't we give the rockets a little bit more time?
So explain how come when TMac scores more, Rockets chance of winning is slim. And how come when TMac leads the team in assists and Yao leads the team in scoring, this team has a higher chance of winning? No wonder you're dumb. Just take a hint, TMac is 2nd fiddle and Yao is the main scorer of this team. That's what Rockets basketball is all about.
1.So whoever doesnt want Yao to be traded is YOF? No wonder you claim that you are more concerned with the team winning championship --- No championship = this team is **** ?! No you are not a ROX fan, you are a NBA championship fan. 2. then your point is lets trade Yao because .... Yao is a liability in crunch time? Ok...Guess we went 0-12 and Yao didnt hit those big shots in the 4th. 3. Then you dont know **** about basketball. 4. Another evidence exposed by yourself that you dont know **** about basketball related topics. 5.Nope, but you sure look like one now.
yao is a top 3 rare talent a top five scoring threat a top 5 unselfish player in the nba. All yao cares about is wining, but i would still listen to trade offers for him.I like the yao for bynum and kobe trade.
The thread was already incredibly dumb, but the trades you are proposing just make you look even dumber. Stop posting in the GARM. Now.
Trade Yao's a$$ now before it's too late and we can't get anything in return. He allowed a 50 year old, fat, lazy, big footed Shaq biatch slap him like he was still a rookie and Shaq was in his prime with the Lakers. Ever since Yao bought that big a$$ mansion in Memorial, got married for regular lays, he think he like american players and can be lazy like T-Mac.
