    Well, to be fair, there are associations between breastfeeding and not conceiving. Of course, it's not 100% foolproof, just like BC, or condoms.

    So she's not necessarily dumb for believing that, she's dumb for completely relying on it.

    This is correct. Breastfeeding causes the body to not produce as much of the hormones that cause Ovulation. It should NEVER be used as birth control though, as it is still possible to ovulate, expecially if the baby is beginning to sleep through the night and the woman is only nursing during the day - then Ovulation is much more likely.

    She's seventeen years old correct? There is no way she's consistent at anything, much less feeding the baby on a schedule. Just because she's producing breast milk doesn't mean that she's not susceptible to pregnancy.

    This is why she's an idiot. Don't just guess. Find out the facts.

    I am sorry, but there is no excuse for ignorance when there are a million ways to research the answer... without asking her moronic mother or skank sister for the details.

    So will this make the boyfriend as a sex offender? I had a friend who dated this chick when he was 16 and she was 14 1/2. When he was 18 and she was 16 1/2 she got prego.. The law now has him as a sex offender... what gives..

    If she's pregnant, congratulations. Teen pregnancy isn't much of a problem when you have as much money as the Spears family has (or should have -- I'm assuming they haven't spent it all already).
