Saying the 1999ers are the greatest = saying you're better than everyone who's not a 1999er. I'm sure you get that.

That's my opinion that the Class of 1999 was the NBA Class of 1984

give me your argument vs the 1999ers.

yeah, I said the 1999ers are the greatest. I'll say it again.

    1999
    we are fine
    age like wine
    we aren't blind
    to find
we are true to the game
    its a shame
    that haters
    like to blame
    us for what?
    we were on the bus
    fools
    we were the ones
    taking you to school
    and still doing it
    today
    what's that you say?
    bulls better than the dream?
do you see what i mean
no 1999er would dare dis the teams you see
    coached by legend rudy t
    heart of champion
that's what this thread is about
    tears for fears
    shout shout
    let it all out
    1999ers these are things
    we win, its a rout

That's not the point. I don't have anything against the 1999ers or anyone else, for that matter. My point is that you told flamingdts that you never said you were better than him, when you clearly did. Whatever, I'm done. This is ridiculous.

you can try for rookie of the year.

this thread is showing love for my boyz the 1999ers. like Boyz II Men, Motownphilly.

I have noticed than non-1999ers are hating for no reason here.
    1999ers, we're a team.
Simply the best - like that Tina Turner song.

notice how a 1999er (myself) could post something
    not about:

    1.Yao
    2.Tmac
    3. China
    4. Obama/Clinton
    5. the refs

and create such an emotional stir.
it shows whats in yourt heart and soul.
    we're Janet Jackson...CONTROL

    Now THAT was funny.

It's definitely true that the 1999ers are some of the better, more thoughtful posters.

I still feel like a clutchCITY.net OG though, since I lurked for awhile and I joined before Yao got drafted. :)

Anybody else remember back in the day when the influx of Chinese posters was endearing rather than grating? Where's windandsea at, anyway?

I have to say Tinman, even considering your lovefest for all things not related to the present, this is going slightly overboard, not to mention its so DAMN RANDOM!
Even for by your own standards, this random fanatical nostalgic lovefest all of a sudden kinda scare me-I mean hell, you even made it into a signature now!
No offense, but the only emotional stir your causing is pissing the new members off. I for one already know you enough to regard this as something is part of Clutchfans life, but in truth, I think you're the only alum of that "special" class of your who even care about what class he/she is in.

But I digress, don't let me stop your orgasmic re-glorification of the past!

My point exactly.....you seem way too enthusiastic (even by your standard), especially after we just got knocked out of the playoffs....

    which leads me to thinking.......

What have you been smoking? (PS and let me know what it is)

I'm proud of this team. this year's defeat was not as terrible as last years.
last years ranks up there with Stockton's 3 pointer.

This year, you know what, win or lose I was proud of those guys (except for maybe luther head).

Why do I get the feeling alot of the 1999ers think the OP is a joke also, and prolly laugh at him behind his back while he thinks there is an actual brotherhood.

Clutch's thoughts when he reads a typical tinman thread:

"Gawd this delusional nutcase is annoying sometimes. Should I ban this guy? Nah, I need something to laugh at and remind me of my sanity..."
