Tmac pissed? Great! Hopefully he will continue to stay pissed for the next 12 games and into the post season.

A pissed McGrady is a "determinted" Mcgrady. I want him Angry!

kirk's defense was pretty solid too. with the way luther's been struggling on defense and with point duties, i'd like to see kirk a lot more. i think he can work on his 3 stroke too so that we don't lose too much of that facet of luther's game. kirk really bothered whoever he guarded with his size and his ability to jump up and really contest shots. we need that against phoenix and dallas. i think snyder got a couple clean blocks on his man straight up, but they called fouls both times.

Battier is our ace defender, for sure. But let's be clear here... whenever T-Mac puts his mind to it, he can shut down anybody like Battier can't. As good as Battier is, when someone is on fire, all Battier does is continue to play good disciplined defense and hope the person misses. T-Mac can straight up shut a guy down, regardless of who he is. He has the lateral quickness to guard PGs and the strength to defend power forwards. Last time we played Dallas right before the ASG, in the 4th quarter JVG switched him onto Dirk and Dirk just went ice cold. Too bad he got into foul trouble.

T-Mac has the ability to be as good as or better than *anybody* in this league when it comes to straight up man-to-man defense.

kirk's also a better individual defender than battier, just not smart. but kirk is def. better than head. head is not only short so susceptible to post up, but he's not smart w/ pick and roll defense. he got destroyed last night.

t-mac was pissed because he gets tired of talking to news reporters, and groupies all on his jock begging to talk to him, and asking for autographs. just let that ***** live for once, and play baskettball.

LeBron did the exact same thing to Dirk when the Cavs played in Dallas a couple of weeks ago. But just like with us, the Mavs still won the game.

All I can say is that the Rox are lucky they have TWO (2) great defenders.

Tracy McGrady and Shane Battier!!!

not entirely related, but could be another reason for why tmac gets pissed....

who else noticed how easily kirk snyder got the ball up the court, versus how much luther ALWAYS struggles? i mean, if i'm tmac, and i'm watching luther dribble, that HAS to piss me off. especially when i know there is at least 1 other guy who can do it better, plus play good defense. i love luther, but he really should be limited to only 2 things: those handoffs from Yao, and shooting 3s. kirk is better defensively and handling the ball, and probably passing. if you put luther in the game, you HAVE to have him with someone who can handle the rock.

I'm looking forward to it too. Seems like he has spent more energy on defense lately, and he drives to the rim a lot more. Tracy is gearing up now, can't wait to see his plays in the playoffs. :D

Battier is a smart and tough defender, but Tracy is simply more talented. Anyway, we should be happy that we have them both.

It wasnt a post-match press conference, a reporter went to him and asked him about the game and he sounded pissed.
