I beleive if those private and charter schools had the shackles on them that public school do . . .then they would be equal If they want the Public money . . they need too have the same rules People point out that private schools do better which is a bunch of statistical BS If they get a student that brings down their average .. .they kick them out they have no students that don't want to be there [or parents are not involved] and they get to do things the way they want public schools are choked on funding .. choked on admin bull***** fix the public school . . f*** the private schools trying to get public money Rocket River
National graduation rates and achievement scores are flat, while spending on education has increased more than 100 percent since 1971. More money hasn't helped American kids. Funding isn't the problem. http://abcnews.go.com/2020/stossel/story?id=1500338
Are you comparing ending slavery to lying about receiving a blowjob from an intern as unpopular but wise choices to make? Really when did it become the norm for political candidates to have their private life scrutinized as though they're under a microscope? Having an affair isn't an act I condone but its far from illegal. And lying about it is something I can at least understand yet so much money was spent on an investigation about a silly lie to maintain a public image, and at least in my opinion establish a political snowball to portray Republicans as family oriented individuals while portraying Democrats as unabashed liberals even when it comes to the sanctity of marriage. It was a load of **** for that investigation to even happen, especially when there are more damnable lies that have gone unscathed by our current administration. I can only imagine the **** storm JFK would be under if the affairs he had back then occurred now.
Maybe a little less Admin restraint? While this is a nice lil PRO-Voucher story the real story is that the governmental constraints placed on public schools It is easy to win . . when you play by different rules once we loosen the reigns on public Schools watch them fly BTW . . I thought you hated kids? Rocket River
I don't hate kids. I hate people expecting others to pay for theirs when they can not afford them (or when they can).
This might hold true for most schools in Texas, but having been to schools in Louisiana, I'm not sure this holds true across the board. You are right about the federal restrictions holding back the dancing room needed to grow, but the sad thing is that too many schools are unstructured and tumultuously misguided and need direction from the top. This is not a wise way to structure education.
http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-10-27-overstock-naacp_N.htm We can scare kids who think about dropping out of school by threatening to throw them away, like this guy did. PS This strategy would be much more effecient than letting the kids "find themselves".
