Why was LT so pissed off during the post game interviews?

"When you saw that guy pick off a pass and fumble it back to me so I could score the game tying TD and you thought that was me... You were fooled."

when it's consistent, it starts to make its case on its own that it's not luck.

If Merriman didn't have a dance then the Patriots wouldn't imitate it.

    Go Pats!

yeah, I mean if it were one or 2 times, i could see it being luck but it's happened enough to have to give some credit where it's due

yeah..that's kinda what i was thinking, too. when you dance around after beating your opponent, you can't complain when someone does it to you.

Plus, Merriman was talking trash all week about the Pats.

If he would've remembered to take his roids, they wouldn't have had the chance.

This one was the definition of luck. Brady gets picked off on 4th/5 which would have given SD the ball ahead by 8 with 6:16 left. Basically game over, as long as mccree either gets out of bounds or down(if he gets down all NE can do is touch him down, nothing bad can happen).

Instead he starts running without securing the football, and brown strips him, and pats recover. Yeah that's some unreal luck right there.

i agree..they were fortunate. but the pats have a way of capitalizing on that stuff. brady threw 3 INT's to SD...SD was playing at home...and they still couldn't find a way to win the game.

Exactly. You do that stupid dance after every sack, test positive for steroids, talk trash all week and then lose a game you probably should have won...you put yourself in a position to get mocked. Tomlinson was just projecting his "anger" toward the Pats when he should have been projecting it toward his teammates.

Yeah lets defend a known steroid user who is known throughout the league as a taunter and his dance and when it is imitated by the team that won the football game lets crucify them just because they have won 3 super bowls in the last 5 years...

You all will forget about it next week...If your going to have a dance its going to be imiated... the dirty bird was imitated.. the salute....I could go on and on...

What makes the patriots a classless organization...? because they overcelebrated after an emotional football game....big deal... If that was the Texans on the field with Mario Williams imitating Merriman you guys would eat that up...

Look I love my Pats... but calling them classless is a little much..

If you don't want the other team to dance on your logo, don't lose home games in the playoffs when you have an 8 point lead in the 4th qtr.

I've never seen a more stupid team than the SD Chargers. They deserved to lose with all the taunting and celebrating they did through out this game. I went into this game just hoping for a good game, not really caring who won, but by the 4th Q, I really disliked the Chargers.

and Classless? I saw no classlessness from the Pats - you talk smack all week, touting how you have 9 pro-bowlers, the best record in the NFL and lose at home? I'm sorry, it is not classless to mock you after you choke it away.

I dont feel like looking it up... so what Patriots will be on the pro-bowl team as those 9 Chargers?

I have no sympathy for the Chargers. Their players were talking smack the whole game - they can dish it out but obviously can't take it. And I agree with others - if you don't want to get mocked, then don't do some stupid assinine dance whether you're Merriman, Ray Lewis, or anyone else.

Besides, I knew the Patriots were going to win - Marty Schottenheimer consistently chokes in a big time game.

I wanted the Chargers to win, but as always, the Pats find a way to win...LT was just defending his boy...No problem with that...Classless, well, that's debatable, but in the end, they choked...

What's the difference between the Miami Hurricane's team all at midfield and dancing around on the Louisville Cardinals logo and the New England Patriots team all at midfield dancing around on the San Diego Chargers logo doing the Lights Out dance?

Same-Same. Both wrong. But the Patriots are winners and the Hurricanes are thugs.

The Patriots are all kinds of lucky:

    1. The Tuck Rule
    2. Vinatieri saving their asses time and time again
    3. This game (well..it was helped by the Chargers' stupidity)

But I guess you can't only be lucky..you gotta capitalize on it.

As for LT being mad, I don't see what the big deal is. I mean it's not like his teammate was suspended for taking steroids or anything...right?
