Wafer will be a problem too if he starts, just like AB. Rockets back court passing will be a disaster with AB and Wafer together.
Well I also remember this board saying we were playing our best basketball when AB was starting when Rafer was out. Now hit the playoffs and over half of the board is saying AB is the problem. A stretch of good basketball doesn't mean we would have been better the whole season without Ron. I'm not buying that at all.
Are you joking? I would go as far as to say that Von basically kept us alive in game 2, and gave us a shot at winning. Believe me, those 22 points weren't a joke... He was getting to the rim at will
Great. 3 no brain trigger happy guys on the court as starters. Yao and Scola would get 5 shots each for the entire game.
Not only does he need more touches but they should be running plays for Von. He's the only guy who can create his own shot and is our best shooter. He just didnt really have it tonight.
Admit it or not, Wafer usually makes the right pass more often than not... Compare that to Ron Artest who thinks he's Lebron or something...
No I am not joking. He kept us in the game in the 1st half and then in the 2nd half he got out of control and it hurt us. That is no different than Ron Artest. He has helped us and hurt us in the same guy. Yet when he does it all people want to do is mention how much he has hurt us.
Thats funny cus as soon as Von started in the regular season the Rockets started taking off, and as soon as he went to the bench they started losing again.
I've said many times, Wafer was making more than 50% of his 3 pointers in those couple games, and you think that would continue? and PG was Alston at that time, who actually can pass. AB and Wafer start together simple will be disaster. We'll have a back court can't pass, can't rebound, can defend, takes shots after shots.
Wafer should get a lot more mins, I didn't say he should start, he shouldn't cus the Rockets bench would suck real bad they need him there cus he is the only scoring threat coming off the bench
We were 7-3 in those games. Good but not that much difference. Rocket closed the season 22-8 without Wafer starting. And if you think Wafer would still shoot like that if he starts in playoffs, you are kidding yourself.
