Our drummer really pulls the sound together. In fact, he's the totality of our sound so far, but we have big plans.
I know everyone's wearing a lot of Athleisure Wear as part of the pandemic, but this is going too far.
I read that it's a major corridor between Europe and Asia, so many wanted control over that region, and many did have "fleeting" control (relative to its history), from ancient Babylonia to Alexander the Great to Genghis Khan. The region didn't become a country until the 1700s and the Arabs conquerors took control in the late 19th century. After that is when Britain and Russia failed to take control.
The Khyber pass has always been a key corridor and is part of the Silk Road going back to the Qin Dynasty. While many empires have controlled that and some of the major valleys I think control of the whole region has always been difficult. History will likely show the US as just another military power that swept through but left after they realized they couldn't actually control the region.
