Last time, TMAC hurt his elbows. The next day, TMAC said, its a "torn" ligament. Then Keith Jones says its just a strain and said technically its a very small tear but its just a strain. We as fans can see right through it. I can't imagine being his teammate and always having to ask him how he's feeling...
Now you're changing the story? I'm calling you on your lie. Show us a link, give us the article. I remember exactly what he said about ORL's team and it had nothing to do with him faking an injury. Neither did Vince.
ONe answer that I can think of which makes sense. Tmac is faking the injuries. He doesn't want the MRI to prove he got nothing wrong with the knee and be force back into practice and game.
I am not going to change the story. I admit I do not rememeber who (my fault) admitted he faked injury. I still think it's either TMac or VC, but I do not have the links to back it up nor will I spend time to google it.
The issue really isn't why doesn't T-Mac want an MRI. The real question is why don't the Rockets training staff want an MRI. They've come out on record saying that it's not a serious injury and there's no point. Jonathan Feigen quietly reported that in the Houston Chronicle next to T-Mac's assertion that he didn't want an MRI because he was afraid that the injury would turn out to be more serious than everyone thought. By putting those two statements up side by side Feigen basically gave T-Mac enough rope to hang himself.
Depends on your definition of serious. Players with bone bruises sometimes miss weeks at a time. If McGrady misses that much time, we are in even deeper trouble than we already are, considering our horrendous record w/o him.
Surely, you realize how far you are reaching in order to excuse the actions of a player who probably makes every GM in the league's list of top 3 quitters.
