Good idea. I like that. Roger Clemens can teach Yao how to grow some muscle and be stronger. Yao should hire him as personal trainer.

wow dude, that's all I am gonna say, wow..

go back to elementary school d!ckhead, there are already 3 freakin' threads discussing the injury, there is no need for a 4th one..

plus, I think Pryuen is a great poster and I really appreciate his efforts in translating all the stuff.. he is really insightful and knowledgable and unlike YOFs like you, he discusses the Rockets in a very objective and rational way..

so yeah, just go away..

This is a serious question: since when, in USA, players decide to take a MRI or not? It is not a medical staff decision?

I imagine that if the trainers/doctors/management thought it was a serious injury then he would have been given the MRI whether he liked it or not. So that leads me to believe that Knee-Mac is exaggerating the injury to the media/fans.

Remember a few weeks ago when he "tore" the ligament in his elbow? That was until the trainer told the media the real story about it being just a sprain.

I want to hear what a Rockets trainer or doctor says about it.

TMac and his cousin Vince Carter are 2 washed up lazy players that likes to fake injuries.

according to Fran Blinebury of the chron, its not t-mac's call whether he has an MRI or not.

"[He doesn't have an option. When the Rockets medical staff tells him to have an MRI, he'll have one. The rest is him just talking. --Fran]"

After hearing this, I don't care what is coming out of T-mac's mouth. Its on rockets staff to make him go get an MRI. I hold the organization responsible, if this is indeed the case.

They obviously don't see a reason to give him the MRI which means the knee isn't that bad. There is no way the organization would have risked McGrady's season or even career by letting him play on an injured knee. They owe him too much money to do that.

it does not hurt to take extra precaution, right? And if the organzation knows its not that serious, then they obviously think t-mac is full of crap too. In that case, we still have a problem.

the ball is still in the medical staffs / organization court. If they think t-mac is full of it, they need an MRI to show that it is nothing serious. I am still not clear why they have not asked for one yet. The only thing I can think of, is that they don't want to deal with the drama, and hopefully this will blow over.

    or
    this is a cop out . . . so T-Mac doesn't look so bad

So I think we can logically conclude that the organization thinks this is a very minor injury that isn't worth looking at more closely but they refuse to comment. So they are protecting McGrady from more scrutiny from the media and fans so that leaves us asking why?

Why are they protecting a guy who does not have the team's best interest at heart? I'm assuming whatever the issue is that has him taking his ball and going home must be something the organization feels it can resolve. Is it the team's record? Is Adelman? Is it Yao becoming more vocal? Is it the return of Francis?
    Maybe a combination of things?

This just gets stranger and stranger.

No I really don't. You don't feel so sad that Buffett loses some bucks in a bad stock investment, do you?
