Do you wonder why the Rockets always lose to the crappy teams like Golden State and the Clippers???... its because of the preparation by the coaching staff to come up with defensive schemes to play guys like Monta Ellis and Eric Gordon.

But when the Lakers come to town or the Jazz, the preparation is far greater and everyone knows where to help out, when Kobe will look for Pao on the baseline, etc. etc...

People want to blame the backcourt which rightfully is bad defensively, but It all falls on the coaching and them not preparing them correctly. Intensity, alert, and passion will make up for a few bad lapses but you must come up with a plan from the coaching staff.

Oh and stop playing Scola at the 4 with Chuck at the 5. Actually Chuck shouldn't ever play the 5, but he is great at the 4 next to a Center to can block shots and help on the boards. Scola, as wonderful as he is on offensively, is terrible with help defense, loses his man, and can't elevate to block a shot to save his life.
