Why the Rangers will win the West (Don't let the thread title fool you)

The Rangers have played better than the Astros since the all-star break. Its inevitable that they will catch the 'Stros. I'm just praying that the Astros can somehow hold them off. But to do so, we HAVE to win the series against the Rangers this weekend in Arlington. We were swept there in August.

 

The Astros and the Angels are slumping, and the Rangers are playing real good winning baseball.

The Astros lead is down to 1 games, and that is due to the fact the Astros have played 2 more games, as the loss record is the exact same.


Hopefully the Astros get on a hot streak, because the bats have not been proactive. It seems that a lot of the offense is coming after the team finds itself down in the count.

All remaining games are huge, but only if the Astros keep winning. Because it seems that the Rangers and Minnesota are going to keep winning and putting the pressure on the Astros.
