Why the NBA gets such little respect

    The NBA attendance across the league is around 93% of capacity. What big part is race playing?

    I don't see any signal about NBA's being unrespected from this picture. I just recognized Jon barry and tmac one this picture, then whom do you think the other guy in kings jersey is?

    more than just attendance i think as far as coverage in the media and rating its not up to par with the other sports, there has been a significant decline from the jordan era in that regard. although i think its rebounding.

    Here's the difference between the NBA and NFL.

    Ed Hochuli came out and apologized, to which I'm sure the commissioner of the NFL had zero problem.

    David Stern on the other hand would never allow one of his refs to admit that they blew a call. He would step in and do everything in his power to protect said ref thinking that this is the best thing for his organization.
