i think it is pretty safe to assume that dwight was late for a meeting, shootaround, or team function. no way you bench a guy who at 20 years old is averaging 15.6 ppg, 12.2 rpg, and 1.5 bpg, unless he was late/missed a team function, or the coach is a complete moron.
Dwight Howard is not the next KG. They do not even have remotely the same game. The only thing similar between the two is that they are both insanely athletic for their height. Dwight will be a force in the paint and the low block. I think he will be shaq lite. If he develops a good jumper, oh lord.... Also, I think that if any one can challenge Yao for the best Center of the near future, its Dwight.
