The brewers are much better than atlanta and have been winning quite a few games lately. Therefore, the astros have a much better chance of winning than St Louis.
What a crazy, mixed-up universe this year is. The Cardinals are free-falling, the Mets are the class of the NL, the Brewers are better than the Braves, the Tigers are the class of the AL, and on the whole AL baseball has been better and more watchable (with the glaring exception of the DH BS) than the Senior Circuit. Crazy, crazy, crazy year. How should a crazy year like this end?? Why, with an 84-win also-ran stumbling backwards into the playoffs and taking the WS from a 100-win team with a top-notch rotation and All-Star offense! Isn't that the only ending that makes sense for a year like this??
YES!!!! 20 years later, no less!!!!! How sweet it would be: --Astros eliminate the Dodgers in 3 while Mets eliminate the Padres in 5. --Astros pound the Mets in 5. --Astros take the WS from Detroit in 6 thrilling games. Of course, I still think it's unlikely that they take it from StL.

It's hard to think any team can continue to lose, but stranger things have happened...I think the Padres are better than the Cards and the Brew Crew can pull at least one out...Then, if need be, SF can beat up on the Cards for the make-up game... It's mathematically possible... Believe b*tches...
