Because no one knows what is in their future, this will at least offer some protection.

That's pretty funny coming form someone with a PLASTIC SURGERY BLOG.

You're rambling is childish and makes no sense. Navigators? Woofers?

We are talking about PREVENTING heart attacks by allowing people to see doctors without being ****ed.(best comparison I can think of)

Do I have the "right" to opt out of this healthcare plan?

    No?

    Then it's not a right - its a requirement.

You can't pay for a right? And what level is a right? I certainly don't agree with mandatory coverage. Its the worst part of the bill. Especially considering there is no government option. This bill would make it better if my employer quit paying for our coverage, because everybody would qualify for government subsidies. I would certainly be better off, because I would get better coverage outside of my employer, for less then it costs them. Instead they will get a 35% tax savings. What a great bill.

If people who do not want coverage are willing to sign a statement that if and when they are injured or get sick they will not be using any medical treatment which they are not able to pay, I think they should be able to opt out. If they get a broken leg falling down stairs, too bad. If they have a sudden heart attack, just die (don't expect hospitals to save them on tax payers' bill).

This has to be the stupidest poll I have ever seen. This poll goes perfect with this Bill. Gives you no choice but the wrong choice.
