Well yea.... it was okay for Bush Jr and Trump to do deficit spending and increase federal power but not for Obama.
They know the psychological aspect of needing someone you can look down your nose at to make yourself feel better.
It was never ok for anyone to do it, but remember who creates budgets....congress. Having said that, Presidents sign them and all of them since Clinton spent like money grows on trees. It's the 3rd rail. Nobody of either party is gonna attack deficit spending because it's such a political loser. WE the voters are the problem for not punishing this behavior on behalf of both parties.
