jordan is the GOAT. no one can see him. but let's be real, jordan never faced a 6'8, 240 lbs linebacker playing the perimeter like he's a natural. jordan would not be able to check him defensively. but offensively, jordan would toy with lebron with ease.

i agree...imo, kobe would too. LB is NOT the most talented/best player the league has ever seen. maybe if LB became a better jump shooter and FT shooter...but right now, i'd have to say that kobe is still quite a bit better than LB.

yeah i dont think so..Lebron is still incredible but right now sits at number 2..its just that kobes supporting cast has gotten alot better, i mean they beat the nets on a night where he shot 3-13. I cant see cleveland beating anyone if lebron plays like that. Lebrons supporting cast is absolute trash..put kobe on cleveland and he'll be putting up numbers like he did a few years ago with like 10 straight 40pt games and such.

did u see lebron take it to kobe in their last head to head matchup? he waved off a pick and took it to him and drilled the winning J in his face. he shut down kobe and got in his head, made him get benched b/c kobe was getting out of control. he outscored kobe in the 4th quarter in a close game.

before that game, i thought kobe was still better. but bron outplayed him on both ends in that game BADLY, particularly in the 4th.

well obviously lebron like kobe can get hot. but we arent simply comparing one head to head matchup, thats just idiotic. in the big picture most people who know basketball will tell you kobe, RIGHT NOW, is the better basketball player. Lebron has a chance to BECOME better, but as of NOW hes #2, but def closing the gap.

Kobe's got more all-around offensive skills. You could say he's a better pure scorer. He's more experienced, so maybe he understands the game better.

But there are some areas where LeBron is undeniably a better player. He's better getting to the basket and finishing in traffic. He's better in transition. He's a better passer and rebounder. And you know what? If its the last 5 minutes of a game with the score tied, I'd rather have LeBron than Kobe. I think he's been the better fourth quarter player the last couple years.

Scottie Pippen would cover Lebron on D not Jordan, Scottie always covered the toughest wing player ala Shane. That way Jordan wouldn't expend so much energy on D.

you can't base who's better on just ONE game...kobe's the better all around offensive AND DEFENSIVE player. LB can't D up like kobe can...kobe has been on the nba all defensive team multiple times. LB has the POTENTIAL to be better than kobe, but he's got a ways to go.

you know when I watched Jordan play, you had the feeling that every time the bulls came you were like oh *****. Either Rodman's going to knock one of your guys out, or Kukoc was going to rain threes all night, your guards would get stopped cold by Pippen or Harper, and when the last possesion came and Michael got the ball, you'd rather be a Bulls fan than the opposing team's.

Kobe Lamar Gasol Bynum and Fisher don't scare me at all. And Snow, James, Iggy, Hughes, Newbie?!!

When's the last time someone wagged a dog tongue at you and dunked the ball in your face?

kobe let lebron get into his head in that game. that's all you need to know. kobe got benched b/c lebron got him to play selfish basketball and 1-on-1 and phil jackson benched him.

i never seen anyone do that to kobe.

Kobe is great and all time great.

But I think Lebron has the potential to surpass Kobe, because he does everything. He is one of the best scorers in the league, amongst the best passers in the league, and for his size one of the best rebounders in the league.

He doesn't have Kobe shooting range, but I don't think he makes as many mistakes as Kobe and needs the ball as much to be effective.
