these Rockets need to win. that's the measure of success.

wanna shut up some critics, make some noise in the playoffs. until then the talking heads are gonna do what they do ...

Kenny for me was just an average NBA player, without the cast of Horry, Clyde, SAm, Thorpe, Ellie and Dream. He ain't shiet!

    Go Rockets!

speacially if that 4 foot guy just won the slamdunk competition!

know what? i would rather be surprised if the 6-2 david wesley blocked yao rather than nate..its all about the jump! no matter how short you are, if you can jump as high as doomsday, you can block anything!

Take off your rose-colored glasses and then watch the clip again.

why do you think i hate Yao? Look, i just call it as i see it. If Yao was my brother and he got blocked like that, i would say - yo bro, you just got it handed to you. Just because i don't deny reality doesn't mean i hate yao.

of course, a YOF can't see that. you want to know why after 706 posts you are still a rookie? think about it.

Dream went out and won the '94 championship with no other star to help him. Nobody else on that Rocket team, Kenny included, has ever tried to take credit for that victory.

vernon maxwell did after he left the rockets. he was quoted as saying, "ask rudy who was the heartbeat of that team. it wasn't hakeem." but then again it's the same guy who wanted a raise from $800,000 by saying "i got kids to feed"

yea im a pretty big yao fan.. of course rockets fan first.. but damn.. JUST ADMIT IT.. nate might of got his body a bit... BUT THAT WAS A GOOD BLOCK!
it sucks he hit yao in the eye after.. but a play like that they are not gonna call it.. if it was shaq, duncan, kg watever.. they wont call a foul on that.. nates hand was all on the ball.. yao got his ass handed to him on that ONE PLAY>. but who cares. it happens.. he still had a good night and most importantly the rockets won

Listen you peace of work, I am NOT a Yao only Fan, so you can quit throwing that shiit around. I am a rocket fan...and in particular I like yao ant tmac.

I don't think yao got anything handed to him. Just b/c a midget can leap up 2 feet and foul Yao does not impress me. We agree to disagree on the ownage or lack thereof of yao on this play.

Listen, I don't care whether my status is rookie or member or senior member or contributing member...fact is I am probably more liked on this board right now than you. So please put me on your ignore list like you promissed before or you can't remember that through your clouded mind.

Like I said b4, just cause yao turned to the basket does not mean he was in the act of shooting...so nate just leaped up and stripped the ball ..ie fouled him..

Look, respect my view on this, including nyorker and I will respect you guys thinking that he was owned...so we can end this back and forth.

I think Kenny Smith is an excellent analyst and a straight shooter. Part of the problem with Yao and the national media is that there was no reason to watch the Rocks the last two months of last year, when Yao's toe was healed. Yao was very good and the Rocks were unwatchable. The image in the minds of the national media is Yao of the crippled toe, and Yao whining about the officials. We, who watched most all the March, April games, and this seasons games, have seen the improvement and the dominance.
    Kenny will catch up.

Shaq made the team better. Not necessarily Kobe better. Him leaving and the Lakers not making the playoffs is no indication whatsoever about whether or not he makes Kobe better, just that him leaving makes the Lakers worse.
