I think its Rick the Ruler's offense. Like last year, we need to go back to what works. This new stuff isn't working right now. Let's go back to the basics and gradually move into the new offense.

Let these guys get healthy and used to playing with each other. I know Boston clicked immediately but 2 out of there big 3 were not coming off injuries.

Let's not forget that Ray Allen is very inconsistent at this point in his career. If he played for the Rockets there would be 5 "trade Allen" threads by now.

cos we've only played 7 games which is not nearly enough games to prove whether or not we're title contenders

The only thing in common between Boston's Big Three and our Brick Three is the number three. Don't forget that KG was injured for part of last year too. Sadly, our Brick Three is composed of the Three Ts (TJack, Tofu, and Testy).

We need Battier to come back so our starting line up focuses on Yao & McGrady again. Artest leads the bench.

In bowling, you take care of your spares and the strikes will come their way. Applying this to basketball, take care of your defence and your offence will be OK. At present, the Rox are too concerned about their offence and not given enough focus on their defence. Hope it will improve when Battier comes back.

Another thing that no one has mentioned yet is that the Celtics got together during the offseason and started playing together a month before training camp even started. So their team had gelled before the season even started. Our guys didn't even get to play together during preseason because of all the injuries.

don't expect a roster to make any more breakthroughs after he steps into his 30s. Yao probably makes some progress if he was really 28 this year, but he actually looks elder than Battier. In addition, I doubt it Allen=Artest. Artest is able to do a lot more than Allen, inside and outside the court. But Allen has a bigger brain that always help him make the best choice when their games come into crisis. However, Artest's six testicles always make things worse.

The thing that makes me most worried about this offense. Artest's lack of agility. Nobody can deny that Artest is alittle clumsy on the court so far this year, if he cleans that up we are good... but the dude is clumsy, and doesn't have great passing skills. He has decent passing skills, but not great and the SF in this offense HAS to deliver the ball right or we lose games.

I know there is a bigger picture here but to me, that is one of the main things hampering this offense.
