I actually don't care anymore if Rafer starts as long as MJ gets a ton of minutes, Rafer reduces his FGA's, and MJ is in the game at crunchtime. Back in the day, Kenny Smith started and Sam I Am finished the game and the team won two championships with Cassell having a major role down the stretch even though he didn't start. As long as Rafer's minutes are reduced as the starter, and we keep winning then it's irrelevant IMO. I'm actually starting to appreciate Rafer's desire to push the rock upcourt a lot faster and I appreciate several things about MJ's game so, bottom line is they both contribute in their own unique ways and it doesn't matter who starts, but who gets the minutes and who finishes. This team is so deep that it actually doesn't matter about starting, but about rotation of players and the TIMELINESS of the substitutions is the most important thing that will insure continuity or infuse the team with energy and production off the bench. We should appreciate all the Rock's player's games cause they're all members of THE Houston Rockets (like em' or not), and trust coach Adelman to figure out the rotations that exploit defensive matchups with our many scorers based on a game by game basis. It's all good....
fire adelman because hes making all the rookie posters come out and make ****ty threads about useless crap
