    Okay, duh, think about it.

We're talking about JVG, Vogul, Kenny Smith and Dom Capers. Smith doesn't even have experience and Dom isn't even a basketball coach. But who did we forget? Let me clue you in: Rhymes with Oody Bombomavich.

That's right! Rudy! "Don't even underestimate the heart of a champion!"

Why not Rudy? Get Rudy to be our next coach! Genius.

Rudy T doesn't want to coach anymore. He was having health problems even when he was coaching the Lakers.

You really think Rudy wants to take on this mess? Rockets are a trainwreck right now, dude. Rudy would be dead in less than 2 seasons here.

Why not bring in Van Chancellor, too?

Rudys health is the reason he resigned as the Lakers coach. He can probably scout but that's about it.

Yes if he's fully recovered and interested.

Interesting idea that no one has thought of yet. Good job OP.

    Suggestion for your next thread:

"Why not tell Harden to play better defense?"

Why not Kermit Washington? He could bring some much needed punch to the coaching position.

I don't think Rudy is healthy enough to deal with the stress of coaching.

What Rudy did well was exclamation point define that it was Hakeem's team. Anybody else got cocky, he took care of it. Hakeem peeked offensively and defensively under his tenure.

And when Clyde came on board, he had a ton of respect for Hakeem, sacrificing his game in favor of Hakeem. Unlike Barkley and Pippen who derailed the train, with their me first attitude. Had Barkley deferred his game as smidge to Hakeem he'd be doning a championship ring too.

Rudy rode Hakeem to two championships and did the smart thing, let Hakeem do his thing.

He's loving that LA living. The guy is a phenomenal coach, but I highly doubt he would even want to coach a little league team at this point.

The chances of having Rudy T as coach is the same as having Flip Saunders as coach

Meh not that terrible of a joke. No need to imply lack of class because of an edgy joke. I'm sure few even understood the punchline
