I think all this talk is actually making it even more difficult for teams to sign him. His agent should tell everyone to just quit it and shut up. Wait till training camp, or at least after the draft. The media circus will be even bigger now with all this.
None of the QBs we had on the roster were average last yr. and if Savage was that much better than Brock, something is telling me, since O'Brien and Brock were at odds, which is what the press is reporting, he would have found a way to put Savage on the field sooner. Plus, Savage hasn't shown he's worthy of being a starter. I don't know much about Cutler but from everything I'm hearing, he's not a good teammate, Romo is a hit away from being out the rest of the year and I'm beginning to wonder, does he REALLY want to be here....He has pull with J.J, IF HE WANTED OUT OF DALLAS, ALL HE HAS TO DO IS MAKE IT KNOWN. SOOOOO, who else is out there??? You're going to trust 2017 with a ROOKIE? I've posed this question but no one has given a valid answer. All they can say is Kaep is at best an average QB, who after leading his team to a Super Bowl and a Conference Finals, can no longer function in the pocket. We would have to change a Offense THAT IS CURRENTLY RATED ONE OF THR WORSE IN THE NFL. RIDICULOUS! But if you're already bad, what is it going to hurt to improvise? Do something different. Kaep's numbers were better than anything we had on the roster and since we are a running team, what would it hurt to have a QB that can run??? Russell Wilson runs, Cam Newton runs, Mariota runs, etc and they're successful. The Texans needs to find away to manufacture OFFENSE
Cam and Mariota were drafted super high and Wilson was a diamond in the rough so either we need to hit on our "dak" or "wilson" or suck and draft a qb high
Aren't there literally a dozen other quarterbacks that you can say this about? Why bring in someone like CK when he's a distraction as well? Because he happen to be surrounded by a a good team that helped him get to the superbowl and such at one time in his career? Cmon...
This is a misleading stat for OR against all QBs listed. Because the playing fields are different; Offensive schemes, surrounding players, etc. For example, Dak Presscott. He has a good O-line and an experienced TE to work with. ON 3rd downs all he did was focus on Whitten. Whitten knows to go past the 3rd down marker and curl, where as an inexperienced WR or TE doesn't!
Cletus, I have nothing against Watt, save the anabolic steroids and HGH he takes with every meal, but I do have something against Christofacists like yourself.
If I'm him, I would ask for it. Doesn't mean he'll get it. If QBs like Fitzpatrick, Glennon, etc xan get $12M+, why can't he?
What QB, who made it to the Super Bowl, hasn't had a good team around them. Every QB has had a good team around them! C'mon
Way to pick the 3 QBs that run that did well. Russel Wilson ONLY runds when the play has broken down and he scrambles for a first, he truly is just amazing at that but doesnt really plan runs. Um did you see this year what happened as teams caught on to Cam Newton? And Mariota broke bones trying to run. Did you mention all the other QBs that run and are terrible? RG3, Tyrod Taylor, etc...
We've seen what this team is capable of with a player of CK's caliber on it...it's making it to the playoffs in a bad division and getting killed by a good team. He's not going to improve our odds any unless BOB radically changes his entire offense for him...and even then CK has shown horrible responses when changing to different systems and trying to learn them as he has in SF. Everything you're suggesting goes against all the info of this being a bad idea. Why don't you just come out and admit that your reasons for him being on this team has very little to do with actually giving us a better chance at winning a super bowl?
You are the absolute LAST person on this forum who should be telling others where to go because of their political views.
