I don't get this thread asking for hate, especially hate of a guy on the Rockets' roster. Furthermore, I don't hate the Spurs. I respect them. Now, Dallas sucks. And if it was Jason Terry coming to the team, or Avery Johnson. . . .

Bruce Bowen and Robert Horry. That should be enough to hate.

What did I tell you Yoyo about newer Rocket fans spitting on our championships?

Its sad, how do you face Laker fans in LA when they love their Magic Johnson, Jerry Wests etc while knowing some so-called Rocket fans spit on Robert Horry?

Hell Laker fans love Horry too!

thats really one of the few things we always agree on, Lakers fans and myself that Robert Horry is the man and clutchness personified.

that and Sedalle Threatt should have never been in the NBA

People who saw the 1995 Rockets playoffs know that Horry was #2 behind Dream as MVP of our playoff run.

he had so many clutch moments but NBA.com only loves to look at his Laker's shots. His 3 pointers vs San Antonio, key rebound in game 5 against Phoenix, and 3 pointers vs Orlando were critical.

But Imus never said black people were the problem, he didn't even use a racial slur (unless ho is a racial slur...). Its just because most/all the people on that womens basketball team were black so they assumed it was racial.

I'm actually trying to find a link of quotes he used. Maybe he didn't say white people were the problem, but he said some controversial stuff. And he was IN the media spotlight already. Imus is a freaking radio show host... and he gets hung for saying something not even racial.

You would think, if anything, that the media would be more willing to let something a radio show host said go because only a few people are paying attention anyway (and he's not being serious half the time anyway) and hammer down on the Pastor already in the spotlight that says something racial. Not the other way around.

No, thats not what its about. I'm just trying to point out (like others in this thread) that a double standard exists. I don't even really care to have it changed. I just don't want people to be in denial and pretend like it goes both ways.

The answer to the OP's title is because he is a Rocket now. They are forgiven once they have repented and come from the dark side. Close this thread up.

    I still have mines. :D

I sleep in it every once in a while, it doesn't quite fit right and the sleeves (or lack of) are a little annoying, though.

You obviously have never killed anyone or you wouldn’t even joke about it. Talking about killing without having done it is like talking about sex without ever having intercourse. You can talk about it all day long, killing that is, but until you watch the life disappear out what once was a human you have no clue, hence you are a virgin. It’s not what you think, even killing the enemy.

I remember shooting at the enemy and not really wanting to kill them. I know I was supposed to hate them, we would always get all pumped up about before hand but I still found it so difficult. I probably waisted more ammo shooting in the air than actually trying to kill. I wasn’t alone, there were many in my platoon who never killed anyone. I would say that was the majority.

Don't get me wrong there were some who loved it. But it wasn't the majority. It’s like that old saying 80 percent of the results are produced by 20 percent of the workers. Only it was more like 95/5. Maybe less than 5% of the platoon did 95% of the killing. I wish I never would have experienced it. My dreams tell me as much.

    Errr . . . I wasn't expecting that.

I'm sorry, but this shows how much this topic has been sidetracked.

Hey everybody, the self-proclaimed most annoying poster on this board said we got sidetracked. I wonder if he/she contributed.

    Jealous? YES.

    Hate? NO.

Now if we're talking about Jazz & Mavs, then it's a different thing.

Brent Barry is no John Stockton.

How in the hell could anyone hate Brent Barry? My hate is reserved for the Jazz and all their fans.

Am I the only one who remembers that David Wesley was part of the WBSS?
